Benz roadster vs BMW roadster. which do you prefer?

If you could only choose a roadster from BMW or Benz which will it be and why?

While the idea of having an AMG massaged Benz convertible is appealing, I prefer handling over power... and there's only one BMW drop-top that appeals to me, and it's not the Z4... it's the M3 convertible... in black with mocha cream leather, for me...

Z3 has poor rigidity and has rear suspension that dates back from the E30 3 Series sedan. Handling's wasnt as sparkling as expected from a BMW.

so as the Z4.

BMW just introduced the Z4 Coupe, nung December of last year. Although for a Bimmer na roadster, I'd still prefer the convertible over coupe. Sympre if ganun ang auto mo, better na people would see who is driving and the one sitting sa passenger seat. Tpos ang plate mo ung name mo. Hahaha. Ung mga bumibili ng Benz na roadster, mga big boss yun or wala lng magawa sa pera. Bimmer sa mga yuppies or dun sa mga anak ng big boss.

BMW Z4 vs Benz SLK, i'd go for the Z4, specifically the Z4 M Roadster.


Compared to the SLK, the Z4 is lighter and more agile just like the Boxster.

*About the SL55 AMG, I think thats in a different category, currently the only Benz roadster with a direct BMW competitor is the compact SLK.

True, Mercedes relies too much on large displacement engines, the result, more power... the problem? Their cars are heavy compared to the equivalent BMWs or Porsches.
I have a feeling even the larger M3 can outhandle the smaller SLK55 AMG.

I got my slk55 amg since July last year and still brings a smile everytime I drive it. I chose MB because I wanted more power and it's a hard top convertible.
