NEED HELP!!! 2007 Crosswind Sportivo or Toyota Innova

m planning to buy a car - yung bagong 2007 crosswind sportivo or innova. it's my first car and it's more of for my personal use. pero pang-family car din paminsan minsan. civic sana kaso di kasya buong pamilya.

with the new improved looks of the crosswind maganda sya both exterior and interior. and wen it comes to diesel engines isuzu ang kilala. concern ko lang is baka matagtag, maingay and madaling umitim ang usok.

with innova people say it has a better ride than crosswind kaso it seems more fragile. if ever di ko rin alam what variant i should consider but m thinking on G diesel para tipid and tahimik na rin naman daw ang makina kahit diesel. though i also want to hear your thoughts on gas.

sir both cars are good ung innova maganda ride nya, hndi xa matagtag. malakas sa gas ung gas variant nya eh according to my friend. kung tibay at fuel ecconomy hanap mo isuzu for everyday use. pede rin ung innova kso ung diesel. btw. xa nga pla kung crosswind ung natitipuhan mo, better kunin mo yung XTi version because of the smaller wheels, useless ung malaking gulong ng crosswind sportivo pampabigat lng and it makes the handling worst. meron pa yata nung limited na XTi eh with dual LCD monitors just like the sportivo but smaller wheels. hndi narin masyadong maingay makina ng crosswind because of its turbo and nasusunog narin ng mabuti ung krudo kya hndi na maxadong mausok. it depends din in how you maintain your engine.

If you'll be driving it a lot and if it's for family use i'd definitely take the Innova E variant. This already has the power features and has the easier to maintain grey interior (the G model has beige which gets dirty easily). Yes there are questions on the D4D but heck just look at the sheer volume of Innova diesels on the road, at least you're aware of it and parts/service shouldnt be a problem.

On the Crosswind, i agree on looking at the XTi version if ever. I test drove one some months back and it performed ok but was still not as refined as the Innova.

Ang vote ko d-4d innova. Para kasing mis-allocated yung 1 million price tag ng sportivo. (sana inupdate nalang yung makina kesa puro facelift lang.)

Wag ka papasilaw sa dvd players at "kagwapuhan" ng sportivo. "Flex ride" ay muelye na suspension (leaf spring).

Ang okey lang talaga sa crosswind, e proven na matibay at matipid yang 4JA1. Ngayon may turbo na, kahit low pressure lang. Pero sa performance, mas capable talaga ang d4d, at wala na rin atang choking problems yung mga units na lumabas ng 2007.

I also had the same dilemma, I like the 2008 Sportivo kasi mas maporma siya compared sa Innova, Pero overall sa Innova D4D parin ako in terms of performance, Durability wise ok din naman Toyota e, Nice Interior, comfy maluwag din..Wag ka magpadala sa mga accessories lang ng xwind,tska according to other threads sluggish daw xwind although ndi pa ko nakapagdrive nito. Dapat nga bili na ko last mo. ng Innova kaso lang nagkaproblema, hopefully sa March makabili na ko

mukhang innova nga is the better choice. now ang pinagiisipan ko is whether to get a gas or diesel. mas tipid ang diesel pero in the long run mas madaling imaintain ang gas. sabi nga peace of mind = priceless.
