Kung ako papipiliin Camry pa din, I like the Camry's appearance better than the Accord. Why don't you consider the new Sonata or better yet the Subaru Legacy.
Try the Subaru Legacy Turbo Sedan instead.!
Okay naman ang Nissan Teana but its only available in 2.5 Liter V6 variant!![]()
camry, mala executive for my taste. kaso very common na din.
accord, medyo may pagka sporty na medyo rare (hindi kase ako nakkakita ng accord araw araw)![]()
beyond these two, it might be the subaru legacy.![]()
Magkano ang budget niyo? Kapag sa 2.4, Sonata na. Good performance and killer looks along with a boatload of features. Kapag V6 (or turbocharged for that matter) its either the Legacy Turbo or Accord V6. The Accord is also particularly thrifty on the highway where the VCM can show its full potential.
Camry for me... Tapos palitan mo ng decal yung toyota mo ng lexus.. naka es350 ka na.. (joke)...
Eto pala video ng camry 2.4 vs sonata..

Why don't include the NEW HYUNDAI SONATA in your choices sir? Beautiful inside and out, and FUEL EFFICIENT based on what i've read.![]()
Between the two, i'll choose accord. not a Honda lover but the VCM sure helps the environment.
Between the two, I`d go for the accord.
But if the legacy is joined within the choices, then I`d pick the legacy instead.
Forget the teana. BTW, also try to include the sonata.
Between the two, I'd pick the Accord...
But there are lots of cars to pick from... the mega-Camrified Teana... the ultra-stylish and incredibly loaded Sonata (if your aim is luxury per peso, it can't be beat) and the sporty Legacy and Mazda6.
All I can say is: Test everything, exclude nothing. Then consider.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
I agree with niky. My dad was choosing between the two plus the Sonata last September. I convinced him to get the Accord.
Reasons:
-The Sonata was really nice plus it has a lot of features but the small engine compared to our other choices scratched it off our list
-Teana, we weren't able to see and test drive it at that time as they only had the unit on a revolving platform at the motor show. By the time we had a chance to try it out, we already got the Accord. The Teana is really very luxurious and has got a lot of nice features which are comparable to the Sonata(push start, panoramic roof, etc). Engine is just right but still far compared to those big 3.5 engines. Transmission is really smooth because its CVT. If your dad wants the comfiest and most luxurious among the choices, get this. The seats are comparable to those italian leather couches. Really really soft. And the front seats are VENTED. Another plus factor is the exclusivity, not a lot of people would buy this
-Camry, although its really nice outside, its just too common for my taste. Dash/center console is really ugly IMO. Engine and back seats are nice. Also loaded with features.
Never really considered the Mazda 6 and Legacy as my dad won't bother looking at those brands. If it was my money, i'd get the Legacy wagon without hesitation.
In the end, we picked the Accord.
-Nice engine coupled with the VCM technology.
-Really nice interior and build quality
-Not as common as the Camry
-Car will primarily be used when driver is off, so power rear seats and other features at the back aren't really factors we considered. My dad has other cars where he sits at the back and is driven by a driver
-Another big plus is Honda Global City is just a 3-4 minute drive from our house![]()

Nice video but not so relevant locally and to the topic as the Camry in the Video has the newer 2.5 engine compared to the 2.4 engine available locally. Sonata in the video is equipped with GDI engine which is not available "officially" and the thread starter has budget for the 3.5liter Camry.
Yep it was a nice video. Looks a bit like a Korean Top Gear with all those nice video effects.
I'd go for a Camry.
But as many have said, if you include a 'wild card' entry, it would be the Legacy GT for me![]()
