September 28th, 2016 06:33 AM #1Hi mga ka tsikot. Plano po namin bumili ng 2nd hand car next year Jan or Feb and budget po namin is 300 to 350k. Ikakasal po kami this december ni gf and plano sana namin mag brand new pero naisip po namin na d pa kaya maipit for 5 years.
1. Altis 2008-2010
2. Civic FD 2008-2009
3. Mirage G4 2014 ( kung meron para mas bagong year and mas magtatagal?)
4. Accent ( wala ako masyado alam sa maintenance and info
5. Montero 2009 ( kung bebenta nung kakilala kong doctor for 400k nabanggit kasi samen, hindi ba masakit sa bulsa ang maintenance? or gaaano kalayo ang difference ng presyo sa maintenance ng kotse? )
Kung meron pa po kayo ma add sa mga choices ko mas ok po. Thank you in advance

September 28th, 2016 07:36 AM #2Hindi ka magkakamali sa 1 and 2 choices mo. I think personal choice nalang. Yung 3.. pwede mo na din gawing brand new minimal nalang MA with your budget. Hindi rin kelangan 5 yrs ang loan kasi kya mo mag down ng 300k.

September 28th, 2016 08:22 AM #31, 2, or 3, have good reputation.
4, convince me.
5, welcome to the diesel! and as is reputed of bigger diesels, more robust build quality. they last longer and offer cheaper fuel expenses (hopefully! but check out the mirage. good fuel economy daw.), but they are probably more expensive, should they need repair.Last edited by dr. d; September 28th, 2016 at 08:33 AM.

November 19th, 2016 12:51 PM #8From what I've heard the Accent's weaknesses lie on its suspension, as with most Hyundai's. There's also the lack of safety features like ABS and airbags. Almost all 1st gen Accent cabs developed turbo problems after just a few years of service, most likely due to poor maintenance and lack of proper cool down after a long shift.
I'd consider the Tucson too. More safety features and higher ride height are big advantages. Though it's 2.0 diesel only makes just as much power as the Accent's 1.5 due to using an older turbo and the lack of an intercooler.
