Ano sa palagay ninyo? Mas mahal ata ng konti Vios kaysa Yaris. I also heard meron daw discount ang Yaris right now?? As much as P50K daw?? I can't confirm this, can anyone confirm it?

By the way the car is for a friend who is heeding an advice from me? He is a young professional budget strictly P750K kasi he wants to pay cash and does not want to go into financing...

The discount on the Yaris is around Php 70K, but I think that's for the M/T.

I wouldn't go for any Honda bec. the engine is allegedly insufficient in the torque dept. (motioncars, paultan.org, vtec.net, bigbigcars, users, etc, reviews). Yes, it has 120 HP (same as a Civic EG 1.6 li, almost 20 yrs ago) but it must be revved to 6,600 rpm to extract that power! Since these vehicles are mostly driven in traffic prone city streets, I think having sufficient torque is imp't.

You'll have to forgive my partner... he's spoiled, being an Accord driver...

While it's true that Toyota's engine programming concentrates more on low-end torque than Honda's, they have the same torque rating. It's just that Honda's comes on higher up.

Saying that the Yaris has more torque than the Jazz is like saying a slug is faster than a snail...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I kinda like the idea of low end torque. Kasi I experience it in Santa Fe and I think low end torque is very useful in city driving...

Yeah heard of the 70k discount on the Yaris for this month only. Got mine for 50k off.

I own a 1.3e Vios and a Yaris MT. I use the latter more. On my 20k km alreayd. Vios on 3000k.

Fun to drive with the low-end torque. Invite namin friend mo makisakay sa Yaris namin
