Hey guys, if you have to choose one and only one among these currently available subcompact hatchbacks in the Phils, which would be it? (taking into consideration specs, performance, price, etc.)![]()

Hyundai Getz CRDi.
The Swift is a bit too expensive already for a small car.

Need an Ambulance? We sell Zic Brand Oils and Lubricants. Please PM me.
I'll go with the Getz.
The Jazz / Swift if a bit overpriced IMO (you could get a 1.6L sedan for their price tags).
on a budget:getz
if i could afford a jazz or a swift,i'd get a mazda3 instead :D
On this entry level i will go for Getz. For Jazz & Swift bili na lang ko M3 mas ok pa with this price of P700+ although japanese Cars pa ang mga to. Chevy Aveo naman korean Car din na rebadge for Daewoo kay sa Getz na ako
i'll get the getz for its gasoline engine and accdg. to my wife's officemate nakaka 18-20km/liter (don't know how true guys?), but i like the looks of picanto. Jazz and Swift overpriced for a small car.

For basic car application and good power to weight ratio, (compared to the getz) get a picanto manual transmission (P415K). 13 to 15 km/li city driving.
If you have more than 2 passengers most of the time, get a torqueky engine via getz CRDI (P500K++).
A jazz and swift is (P700K++) way too high a price for a practical car.

plus it may be a Diesel but its output is close to equivalent 1.5L gas counterparts but trumps them in terms of torque. and of course, fuel economy will surely be thriftier.
Il go for the jazz, Reliability and good after market service is of paramount importance to me and offcourse fuel economy and maintenance cost. Personnally im drooling for the swift but the price tag is over the budget with this category. Plus the 1st two criteria is still questionable for suzuki and hyundai getz.
Honda 1.3 CVT . . . practical and fun to drive. Very spacious. Not too expensive also. . . P630K
