Marginal is still acceptable. The Camry among the locally available midsize car is the only one who didn't pass the IIHS small overlap. For real. It was 'POOR'.
Along with the Prius V and Lexus ES350.

Here's another article from Consumer Reports listing down the CUV's in order of their overall test score. The Forester is on top, with CRV coming second and CX-5 placing third. The Korean CUV twins (Sportage and Tucson) ranked last, even lower than the old Nissan Rogue.

Small overlap is just one scenario in reality, 'kapag nag overtake ka at kinapos', yun yung instance na nire-represent ng test na ito. of course in moderate to full frontal impact. Mas maraming papasa sa test. Small overlap, is mostly, taken for granted by most manufacturer.
