vehicle review board

Can tsikot have a vehicle review board quite similar to amazon.com wherein owners can give their inputs and ACTUAL ownership comments? Sort of a MINI REVIEW upon acquisition of a PARTICULAR MODEL or VARIANT.

Suggested simple rule: Non-owner of a particular car model should not post. And limited to driving impressions and vehicle comments.

No how to, what is the best, EBs, etc.

But you know motoring journalists..when it comes to vehicle reviews ang feeling ko kasi "halfspeak"-a little praise here, a little critique there.

I envision this to be like a "miniblog". Honest-to-goodness take on what one already have.

Entries are strictly on the product. No comments on someone else comments.

Magandang idea yan, yun nga lang baka nga maglabasan ang trolls at japeyks...

Pero pwede naman siguro maglagay ng guidelines..like san binili, kelan binili, sino SA, tapos letrato ng unit mismo sa loob ng garahe...hindi pwede sa showroom etc. Tsaka dapat lets say pwede lang sila mag post kung may atleast 50 posts na sila or lets say specific timeframe mula sa pag join ng tsikot until ma acquire yung unit at mag post ng review. Para maiwasan mga ahente o kaya posers maglalagay..

Both owner and professional reviews have their merits.

Journos can tell you the differences between different models more easily, because they have access to a wide variety of models.

Owners can tell you all the dirty little secrets of a car.

Been both naman. Active ako sa mga owners clubs like Nissanbayan, Protegetech at Fordclubph.com. And you learn a lot.

Pero you learn a lot because of the "kuwento kuwento" style. i can understand it's hard for non-forumers to dig through the posts. Siguro maganda kung may " common problems" thread na puwedeng unlocked ang first post para ma-update ang list... Like we do in other owners forums.

Aside from owning it, guys also learn a lot about and can give good feedback because they have hands-on maintenance experience with the car even if we don't personally own them. Otep and I for example, get to go hands-on dirty with a quite lot of different cars because we personally handle the servicing of these rides although they are not necessarily ours.

so what do we do to those who don't own the car and yet want to say something? stone them?
how do we find out that they actually do not own such car?
..point is, a rule that is not enforceable, should be discarded.

Pero paalala lang sana sa mga epal jan na walang magawa kundi magawa kundi mag bigay ng critique when they really don't have anything better than what they are criticizing, limit yourselves to comment about what is obvious -- like looks. We are all entitled to that. For all the other aspects of a car that you don't have shut the F up. Wala kayong mga credibility. Baka mas bulok pa kotse niyo sa mga kotseng nilalait niyo. Talo niyo pa totoong mga naka euro cars, rational and factual.

Sorry pare di ko nagets tanong mo. Just saying that Euro Cars owners I know (and even those in this forum) really don't bash. They give their honest opinions -- but they don't or seldom bash. Kung baga naka Panerai/AP na sila pero di nila nilalait mga naka Tag/Oris. Credible. At least maybe dumaan din sila sa Oris. Eh yung mga epal -- kahit Gshock di makabil ang lakas malait.

Are you kidding? There are some owners of euopean cars who sneer down at anyone not at their level. There are jerks in any group of owners.

Thats pretty obvious. Simply saying that its better to get feedback from those who have something better than those who dont have any. I believe a percentage of those who have expensive cars worked for it unless youre a dirty politician or a rich brat. Baka yan yung mga nag ssneer down on asian made cars.
