September 15th, 2013 11:46 AM #1Mga sir, we planing to buy a new car but hindi po namin alam kung ano yung maganda at matipid sa gas. Yung pinag pipilian po namin is mirage, EON, i10, swift, yaris. yung main purpose lang po namin is pang hatid sundo lang sa anak namin dito sa area namin at minsan a long drive mga 90klms from our place to a big city.

September 15th, 2013 09:03 PM #4Among your choices, mirage is the most practical . Eon and i10 are too small in my opinion. Yaris is the most fun to drive, but I think a new model is up and coming. Swift is the most porma. Just choose manual kung gusto ko tipid.
How about vios? Don't like?

September 15th, 2013 10:06 PM #7maraming salamat sa mga reply. As what I have said ang main purpose lang talaga is hatid sundo ng anak namin. at ok lang din sa long drive like may pupuntahan ako with my wife sa ibang city. pero kung marami na kami kasama yung anak at soon baby namin at yung kasambahay meron namang Adventure na pwede naming gamitin. So I will now go with other sedan na malalaki. Yes, I will get manual instead og matic mas preferred ko kasi ang manual.

September 16th, 2013 12:28 AM #9How much exactly is the budget? The most expensive among your choices (all M/T) are the Swift (749k) and Yaris (736k). If you don't mind that it still uses the same engine since 2003, the Vios is much improved in many aspects, most notably in the looks, rear seat space and trunk departments. Since you can reach this much, might I suggest the Accent CRDi 6MT at 768k. Definitely the most fuel efficient in it's class, fastest too. You might find yourself drifting farther and farther from the Adventure if you get this one.

September 16th, 2013 02:11 AM #10with a new baby coming soon, i suggest a van or an auv or mpv. used revo, old or new adventure or innova or hilander... starex!
babies don't ride alone. they need "accessories" like car seat, stroller, change of clothes, food, the kitchen sink, etc.
unless you prefer to borrow the adventure ni brodinlo every time...
oh, yes... you can also use your new auv to service your school kid..
you can think of getting a sedan again, when your kids go off to college.Last edited by dr. d; September 16th, 2013 at 02:39 AM.
Hope we see significant changes.
