    What's the best between these sub-compact's?
    Bang per buck and gives good performance.

    Yaris 1.5
    Vios 1.5
    Mazda 2 1.5
    Swift 1.4
    Accent 1.4

    Accent 1.4 is the cheapest in the lot but has the most power, the most space, and the most comfortable ride.

    actually kung ganyan dapat accent 1.6 yung andito, puro kasi TOTL models yung yaris/vios/mz2/swift (1.5). kung ganyan, accent talaga pinaka bang for the buck.

    You want something fun to drive... the Swift 1.4 MT would be the most fun, followed by the Fiesta 1.4 MT and the Mazda2 1.5 MT... but that's not bang for buck... most bang-for-buck hatchback would be the Fiesta 1.4 MT.

    Bang-for-buck sedan is definitely the Accent 1.4 MT.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Nope. Halos patas na. In fact, the Swift's rear headroom and elbow-room actually feels a bit better than the Fiesta. Where the Swift fails is in the rear cargo space... which is smaller even than the Yaris.

    But as a city car... perfect. And it's freaking lovely to drive, even compared to the Fiesta and Mazda2... and that's saying a LOT.

    Ah so I see it got better. Kasi I remember before, a lot were complaining about the old Swift. Hmmm. Probably that's why I already see a handful of Swifts around

    In terms of rear seating comfort or sikip....
    1st Place - Fiesta
    2nd Place - Swift (current)
    Bottom of the pack - Swift (discontinued)

    Haven't tested a Mazda 2 Hatchback

    That's according to my observation.

    The new Swift is a great little car (test drive it to believe it). The problems are:

    a) it looks almost exactly like the old one;
    b) priced ridiculously high for a 1.4;
    c) bland interior; and
    d) useless trunk.
