The G is around 820 so I guess that's the fairer comp.

I have a Vios but if I had the moolah to choose I'd get the Lancer

That was my budget for a car (800K) and i got the Corolla 1.6E m/t. :D (806K less 20K that time)... of course not as much extras as the Lancer but i prefer 6-speeds and needed more trunk space for my needs.

On Vios versus Lancer... Lancer for me.

2013 Mitsubishi Lancer EX 1.6 GLX - Honest Car Reviews Philippines

One thing I really hate about the Vios is the seating position. It took me a long time to get used to it. It's able to swallow 5 hefty adults plus two grade-school kids (and two big maletas) without bottoming out though

+1. Got used to it too.

And then I really got to appreciate the comfy-ness of a Benz seat ..

My friend was telling me kasi bec there are few units of Lancer relative to Civic and Altis, shops won't stock up on parts for Lancers. And few surplus din. Also he said the resale value of the Lancer EX is really low, though it doesn't matter to me since I plan to keep the car for a long time.

BTW the sales agent from Mitsubishi owns a Vios. How ironic. hehe. What is it about the seating position of the Vios? The center thingie is so awkward for me lang talaga. It gets me dizzy.

Sakin kasi ok yun eh. :-) But anyway, I think yung sinasabing Lancer EX na konti lang eh yung wala pa sigurong 1.6 na variant, pero ngayon nung lumabas yan an dami ko ng nakikitang EX sa daan, kadalasan 1.6. The same goes to the SA na naka Vios, baka kasi wala pang 1.6 ang EX nung binili niya Vios niya.

Isa pang magiging problema mo kung may plano kang bihisan to since 5 yrs mong gagamitin, eh sasakit ang ulo mo!

Yun lang talaga maliit trunk, but I dont care, an laki naman ng loob.

The resale of Lancer EX has been quite okay. And it is hard to say with the resale value of the newer Lancer EX 1.6L which is experiencing a high demand.
