hard starting - no experience
recall due to ABS sensor - di lang naman ang mirage ang may recall
road noise - nipis ng body - kulang sa sound insulation, dahil sa gulong - maingay
shaky engine - pag idle, 3 cylinders lang kasi
engine hesitation - no experience
soft suspension - suspension setup, not to be overloaded, body roll
btw, GLS CVT mirage naminLast edited by meledson; April 14th, 2013 at 10:28 AM.

April 14th, 2013 10:49 AM #9for a one time buyer ( I assume this means you do not buy a new one every 3-5 years or so), I'll go for the Vios if you can afford it.
go for the tried and tested models since you will be using it for quite some time.
my mother-in-law owns a 2008 Vios and it is still good except for the stiff clutch which maybe due to normal wear and tear.

Risk talaga ang di masyadong popular na models in terms of availability of parts outside of Metro Manila (or Kapalangan kung malapit ka don hehe). Even my dad's kahit-saang-sari-sari-may-pyesa AE101 still gets its parts via yours truly. If I were in your shoes I'll get the Vios (bias aside) but wait for the new model. Let the Mirage "age" a bit.
That being said we're getting a Mirage CVT because we already have a Vios E ATThe Mirage is smaller and IMO easier to drive/park. Space is not a big issue because my byenan will be driving it most of the time for their grocery and church runs.

It's looking a lot like a certain cruiser with that color scheme.
