When I was car-hunting, I was choosing between a black stock Civic EG hatch and a red D15b-powered ESI. Same price sila, but when I look at the hatch's carb, the VTEC in the sedan made my mind...

Pero one question comes to mind...

Bakit nga ba malakas daw ang dating ng mga hatch cars sa chicks?

This is regardless of the make and model.
Im not saying Civics lang, pero bakit tila yata ang mga Pride CD-5s, Charades at Alto's ay hindi naman chick magnet?...
Ang Getz at Picanto ba ay girl magnet din?
Bakit ang Jazz at Yaris ay tila mabenta sa mga babaeng drivers?

Syempre pag 1-series at A3 ibang usapan na yan...

At di ba mas maganda kung maeenlighten din ito ng mga girl Tsikoteers dito?

i'll have to disagree with you on this: by that logic, men who drive vans and station wagons should have most of the girlies' attention :D

just like most men are more practical with, say clothes or grooming, women are more practical with cars. i.e. kung mas maarte ang babae sa pananamit/make up, ang lalake naman mas maarte sa pagpili ng kotse B).

given a choice i'd get a small car...problema kasi ung nakakasabay mo sa daan, 16-wheeler, bus, and those annoying wang wang convoys. lugi ka sa banggaan...not to mention crater-like potholes and flooding.

Yeah, I think this is also one reason why you could seldom see modified cars driven by girls.

IMHO, given she has, say, an extra 15000 pesos on her wallet ready to be spent, she'd rather go to Serendra and go home with bags of girl stuff (make-up, bags, shoes, clothes etc) ... Whereas we motorheads with that same amount of extra money would like be seen at Banawe or Evangelista buying stuff we can't even eat or wear.. .. or maybe somewhere else like a "massage health spa" ...

imo hatch cars seem to appear sleeker than sedans. mas madame din kasi nakikitang sedans, lalo na mga luma.

Pansin ko lang po pag kasama ko yung mga friends ko na girls tapos may makikita kaming hatch like the Civic, sinasabi nila cute daw at maporma sana ganun nalang daw binili ko..

ang gaganda kasi ng dating, masarap pormahan. maangas kasi porma ng mga yan lalo na ang eg hatch. pa-retrofit ko lang headlamps nun, panalong panalo!
