2 1993 Corolla GLi for a 1st Gen Vitara: worth it?

We still have our old reliable Corolla AE101. In fact, 2 still in good condition despite its age although napalitan na several items like the alternator, distributor, compressor, etc. Napahilamos na rin. The red one is all stock while the blue one roll on 15s and has a cone type air filter.

Would it be a good idea to sell them both then get a gen1 Vitara?

Reason: Gusto ni mrs. She won't mind if MT. Quite amenable ako to the idea considering rugged... can go anywhere ang dating. Di ko lang alam maintenance bits ng Zuk.

Bale maging primary user wifey since I usually drive the Crosswind and the pick-up.

Please enlightened. Good idea ba ito? Salamat po.

sa akin, i'd keep the AE101, very reliable, maintenance-wise, mas madali kesa sa suzuki but its just me

pre same tayo ng iniisip dati maganda din kase porma ng vitara pero may nakasabay ako sa mechanick ko ng minsan nag pagawa ako ng car ko , may vitara doon na ilang months na na nandoon sa mechanic ko so na curiuos ako ask ko kung ano problema sabi noong mechanic ko palitin daw ang cylinder head nag order pa daw dahil walang mabilan and sobrang mahal daw ng cylinder head & other parts imagine cylinder head 30thou compared to may toyota corolla big body XE 10thou cylinder head. so hayun nawala na ang pag ka gusto ko sa vitara & napag isip isip ko eh kahit naman luma na car ko eh kahit once hindi pa ako itinirik ng car ko. nakapa reliable talaga ng big body ko kaya nang hihinayang na ako ibenta now.

Thanks for the quick replies. Yes, yan talaga problema kasi ignoramus ako sa maintenance ng Vitara or Suzuki in general. Medyo mahirap i-source parts. At mas madali maintenance ng Corolla.

keep na lang your corolla. if you have plans in replacing them, replace them with something which is easier to maintain.

ako din i have the same comment na keep na lang yung rollas kesa sa hard maintaing vitara.

kung ako, ill get the vios or city kung talagang kaiting kait na magpalit ng oto.

iba pa din ang sedan. kahit pa corolla lang yan. iba pa din imaneho since may mga diesel fed haulers naman na kayo.
