Generally the newest you can afford is better, unless of course, yung year 2000 mas laspag pa sa year 97... Syempre yung galant 2.0L na kaagad yan, mas malakas sa gas kaysa dun sa mga 1.6, pero masarap gamitin lalo na sa high speeds, dahil mabigat, stable.

for daily driving, i'll get the sentra. next option will be the familia. but as chieffy said, it all depends on the condition of the car.

fully loaded yan. power everything (cept for the antenna). abs, airbag, cd-changer, etc. only weak point is engine support & erratic idling.

though kung daily driver... i'll go for the newer exalta.

1) newer the better
2) better condition (engine, body, suspension, etc) the better
3) mas tipid sa gasolina the better ... dont know bout the other cars pero a M/T mazda familia's average consumption can be 8-9Km/Li (city driving) depending on your driving style

wear and tear is comparable to other brands.

the price of OEM parts are the same also with other brands.

sa exalta ako, just because its newer. three years is a long time hehe, malamang mas worn out na yung interiors nung mga 97. plus, the exalta has leather seats and beige interior and stuff, mas comfortable (although the others have more space particularly in the back seat).

depende kung anong variant ng ford lynx... if ghia (top of the line), sa lynx na ako.

Lynx Ghia may airbag, ABS with 4-wheel discs plus other luxury features. The latest model had an optional sunroof.

I'd pick this car over the Exalta because it's much better to drive. It's chassis is the best in its class, at least in performance.
