Since the 2016 Innova is now priced at Php 1,021,000 (2.8J)

We can say that Toyota has left the AUV market (Innova was referred to as a MPV) and has left it to Mitsubishi and Isuzu...

Which one do you think is a better buy?

Adventure GLX (Php 870,000) or Crosswind XT MT (Php 883,000.00)

Personally, my vote goes to the Adventure... You have an option for a 7 seater (only available on the top of the line Crosswind).

I know, i know.......spelling....., marketing and suspension, coil and leaf springs, dont know of a vehicle that is marketed as an mpv that uses leaf springs, auv almost all coz of the weight. Suspension needs to be sturdy. Thats what i could think of right now

The AUV: In the service of the Filipino | Auto Industriya

Those old enough will remember that AUVs used to be exempted from Excise Tax...

And in 2002... The CRV had 10 seat belts to get tax exemption as an Asian utility vehicle

Toyota released a diesel version of the first gen Avanza (1.4 L 1ND-TV)

Strangely, the option was not available for the 2nd gen...

Adventure. Sobrang basic ng crosswind xt. Tapos mabibingi ka sa ingay ng makina. Parehong makupad pero mas makupad ang crosswind

I'll choose Adventure. Mas comfortable kaysa sa Crosswind

    Depende sa need.

I find the Sportivo to be better looking and bigger, but driving comfort is really not there. Sa speed, medyo mas mabilis ng onti ang Adventure. I also find the Isuzu engine much reliable.

However, riding and driving comfort, mas maganda ang advie.

Best of both worlds, Innova Diesel.

I never really like the adventure the seating position is awkward and the diesel adventure(manual) is like driving a gas fed car that you have to step on the gas and clutch for the car to move compared to the Innova manual where in you could just lift your left foot gently off the clutch w/o steeping on the accelerator. The Adventure also has poor legroom and space in the 2nd row seat. I don't think the adventure is fast neither the crosswind. The crosswind has a better driving position and the steering feel is not light at highspeed but the problem is it is so darn bouncy even with 5 people on board.

My Automatic 2003 Crosswind still gets 12km/l in the city same as my 2007 Toyota Innova =)

Doc i'll answer your query. Using our advie 2013 model in Manila-Ilocos-Manila tour, pumatak ng 11km/l consumo namin (Ratrat from Urdaneta up to Sta.maria ilocos sur) :D

Touring mode pinaka mataas kong nagawa 16km/l (80 kph in nlex-sctex).

In city driving wala pa ako idea, usually 200 petot lang pinapakarga ko everyday. (From taguig-sta.mesa manila-taguig)

A 7 km/l in diesel is a joke. Maybe in a gas fed adventure, it's possible.

On our non-turbo manual XUVi, 10 km/l in the city, 16 on the highway, and up to 19 km/l at 70 km/h.

Among the diesel competitors I've driven, only the Innova matches that.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
