Anybody know which is better? Centro? Almazora? Metro Truck?

will never choose metro truck bodies. ang pangit ng mga FB nila both L300 and L200. mga nakikita ko on road puros bugbog yung rear body pag metro.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Ang reservation ko kasi yung L200FB, so its Centro or Metro.

^TS, check with other dealers also, baka meron naman L200 na almazora body.

    pag metro body, wag nalang.

Prices are the same regardless of body, as far as mitsu is concerned. According to their brochure for the L200FB, I saw the difference are in the measurements:

I will quote measurements as Almazora/Centro/Metro in mm, and kilos.

    Length: 2365/2498/2300
    Height: 2022/2056/1973
    Width: 1750/1750/1750
    curb weight: 1699/1667/1664

Looking at the curb weight, magaan ang metro, i.e. manipis ang metal? Ang almazora mabigat pero mas maliit sa centro, i.e. makapal ang metal?

good luck on your purchase. maintenance lang naman ng body is initial rust proofing and then annual or bi-annual underwash and re-touch nalang ng undercoat

FB Almazora bodies from our motorpool holding up well. Still no rusting and window moldings are still all intact even after years of abuse. Can't comment for Centro/Metro.

Never get from Metro Truck. Sub standard workmanship. The company's L300 FB needed roof repainting (due to peeling and surface rust) after only 3 years of use!

IMO, metal bodies made here will always need lots of bondo/body filler (or masilya). That is why I try to avoid them. Even Centro is not immune from this. Just check out their disgusting looking L300 XV. I wonder how many kilos of masilya have been added?

Bottomline: For most type of bodies, get only from Centro or Almazora. This is based on what I see on the road. Never from Metro Truck. Ever.

Personally for aluminum body or dropside, we have it made at Po Chuan Truck Builders. You deal personally with the owners directly. No bureaucracy to sift through unlike in Centro.

even Centro hindi maganda yung mga nakikita ko sa FB. Almazora talaga maganda. no peeling, etc.

i've seen the aluminum body of po chuan. mukhang matibay. is it expensive there?

My uncle has a 2012 Isuzu IPV. Last I checked it had 40+tkms on the clock and is driven pretty much daily for delivery duty. The rear body is Centro. So far there is no rust even though the parking area has no roof and so is exposed to the elements all day long. There are no leaks either. The only problem is the door, which rattles a lot especially when not closed hard. No matter how hard you close the door, the rattle is still evident in bad road conditions.
