Good day mga ka-tsikot, nagpapatulong po ang friend ko with a budget of 350-380k. Reliability, porma and last na siguro yung fuel consumption. Mostly higways po ang byahe around 60 kilometers daily commute nya. Thanks mga idol

    1. Budget - Civic at M3 ang swak. Mataas pa price ng GTA.

    2. Realibility - 1st, Civic. 2nd, Lancer. 3rd, M3.

    3. Porma - Civic. Madaming available na kits.

    4. FC - Hindi nagkakalayo yan tatlo since mostly hi-ways.

M3, lalo na kapag gagamitin ang tiptronic/paddle shifter.

Why not consider a Civic FD 2.0? They are priced about the same as the lower trim 1.8L model but you get a more powerful engine and better features. The 1.8L model has better fuel efficiency though.

The Mazda 3 of that era is not known for fuel efficiency but they do handle and drive well. The 2.0L and 1.6L models average the same fuel consumption.

    ^ i concur on the civic fd 2.0 s-l.

i drive one and i still prefer driving it over our newer suv. swabe kasi at may oomph talaga pag tapak sa silinyidor. iyon nga lang hindi kasing fuel efficient ng lower trims pero tulad ng sabi ng naunang poster, since high-way driving ka naman most of the time, hindi naman gaano nag-kakalayo ang kunsumo mo ng gas niyan

A family friend has the Civic 2.0S and often complained about the poor city gas mileage which he likened to that of midsize sedans, though also noted that it's performance could match a 2.4L midsize with ease. If you are into modification though, this is definitely the one to get. Both engine and tranny are capable of reliably handling lots of added power.

Ang vote ko din ay sa gta hahaha. Machong macho kasi lalo na pag naka kits. Iba na ba ang makina ng 08 gta kesa sa mga bago na gta ngayon?

Same lang yung engine, 4B11 2.0L MIVEC. The same engine is used on the ASX.

Another option would be the old Mazda6 2.3L (2006-2008). It is a bit small for a midsize. It has a lowered stance already plus you get a better performing engine and better suspension. I see some sporting 19" wheels and they look awesome. It can easily outperform the three cars here in terms of performance, handling, and even comfort.

If looking for an MT car, maybe you can consider the Civic FD 2.0L MT or the Ford Focus TDCi MT (2007-2008) or the Lancer GT (MT variant of the GT-A).
