TOTL Mazda 2 vs. Mazda 3 1.5

Also goes for other brands I guess (TOTL city vs. Civic, VIOS/ALTIS, etc).


Just looking for other opinions out here, for the nearly identical price, would you go for the TOTL features vs. the better engine / larger segment car?
Also is the maintenance cost difference significant for these 2 segments?

I have a Mazda3 1.5 and I'll always choose it over the Mazda2. It looks better, it's bigger and it has a center armrest 😁 Maintenance is free for 3 years for the Mazda, I don't know about the City and Civic. The Mz3 and the Civic are more premium than its subcompact counterpart. But in the end, it's up to you whichever will make you happy.👍

A midtrim Mazda3 over a TOTL Mazda2, the same way as Civic over a City or the Altis over the Vios.
