Lancer ex vs elantra vs mazda 3 vs focus sedan all 1.6 AT

2. Reliability
3. Cost/ availability of spare parts
4. Maintenance
5. Resale

Pinakamura of the bunch is the lancer ex at 828k then elantra 888k, the ford at 929k mazda 3 at 999k

Nagtanong na ako before ng lancer vs elantra kaya lang ngayon kasi nagadd ako ng 2 other cars for comparison. Sorry kung makulit. Hehe.
6 years minimum gagamitin. Mostly city driving lang. Gusto ko itsura ng lancer and mazda 3 kaya lang ang mahal nung mazda hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit.

i'll choose either lancer or elantra. masyadong mahal na ang mazda 3 para sakin. ang focus 1.6 parang hindi sulit para sakin e. medyo kulang din ng power.

pero i suggest lancer for you kasi gusto mo rin ang porma e

Yup, ang alam ko CBU yung Mazda 3. Old engine pa yan diba, 4AT? Gwapo pero lakas sa gas!

Dun ako sa Lancer. Bakit? At least kasi tested na yung longevity niya. Yung Elantra hindi pa e. Not stereotyping on Korean cars, pero since sabi mo 6 years minimum gagamitin. Dun na 'ko sa subok na. Oks lang Elantra IMO kung ~ 5 years lang gagamitin.

lancer na talaga yan sir. hindi matatapos ang paghahanap mo nyan. hehe. mas mahal compared toyota or mitsu

Ill get the base lang sir. Hehe. Yung natipid igagastos ko nalang for dress up. Ang bare tingnan pagwala yung sideskirts ng gta eh. Spoiler na rin para gwapo. Kulay nalang dilemma ko ngayon. Black or silver. Black sobra ganda pagbagong carwash kaya lang mabilis dumumi. Silver madali lang daw imaintain kasi di halata yung dust, scratches, water marks. Nakakaexcite sana mabili na fd ko.

Black is hell to maintain.

To make it look better, a nice set of 18inch wheels is the best option you can do. Most basic would be a set of GTA wheels (2nd hand would cost P15,000 to P20,000 wheels only, set of four, tires not included). After the wheels, a set of side skirts and front chin spoiler would give your EX better looks as well as painting black (or sticker it) the front grill's center bar.

Lancer EX 1.6 is pretty much the choice vehicle from your four options.

It has good fuel economy and has proven reliable. The Lancer EX 2.0 has generally proven reliable and maintenance costs has been low. It can be safely assumed the 1.6L would be the same or even better.

As for resale, the mazda3 and focus has proven to be poor in resale value.
