mga bro tanong ko lang kung ano pinagkaiba ng honda city type z exi sa lxi 2001 model.alin po sa dalawa nag mas mahal, merry xmas narin po sa inyong lahat
yung 1st gen local market City kase nung ni-launch back in 1996 was in 2 variants
1.3EXi and 1.3 LX
after 2 years, they've added the 1.5EXi 110hp, the 1.3EXi 95hp then became the 1.3LXi 95hp and the 1.3LX soldiered on unchanged.
When they introduced the City Type Z on 1999. There were only 2 variants
1.5EXi 110hp and 1.3LXi 95hp
When they launched the VTi to replace the EXi 2001 it gained 4 disc brakes, 5 more horsepower (total of 115hp) and lost the AT option.
One more difference:
The 1.3L LXi variants of the "SX8"-series City can be had with either a manual or automatic transmission.
You will never ever find a 1.5L City, VTEC or not, of that vintage with an automatic. All of them came with a stickshift---I know because I used to drive one.
If you find a 1.5L SX8 City with an automatic, it probably started life as a 1.3L car and had its engine swapped. I know a friend from Honda Club Philippines who did almost precisely that, but with the B16A engine of the Civic SiR.
