im sure the City LX has 1.3L EFI SOHC as the City EXi. it has 95hp and is very quick and fuel efficient.

dati before we bought our 95 Corolla XE, we were cross shopping for a Civic EG Hatch... parang 1.2L SOHC 16v EFI ata makina nun eh.. stock ah...

puro ganun kase makina nakita ko... mga 3 units.

WIK, LX (not LXi) has same engine as the City EXi. SOHC 1.3L hyper 16V 95ps.
LX doesnt have power steering, stereo (dealer installed option) as the EXi.
moreso, it has manual crank window on all 4 windows (EXi has power front windows), its only available in MT, some have black bumpers and has only steel rims that doesnt even have covers.

given the same exterior condition, I'd choose the hatch over the city<resale value>, but look for the late '95 model na stock...yung plate number e "U" na ang start--i presume ur single, ok yan na pang date & gimik, but if you're a family man, go for the city syempre...
