kia sorento vs. hyundai sta fe

If comparing the current Sorento model and Sante Fe, I'd get the Santa Fe. CRDi model!

I heard that there is a new Sorento coming out, just not sure if within this year or next year. Probably it will be an all-new model.

The Sorento has more torque and good mid-range pickup, but the Santa Fe's got a really good transmission and a somewhat smoother engine. There's more space in the Santa Fe and it has a more settled suspension (the Sorento has a bit too much body roll). The Santa Fe has lots more in terms of options,too... including the neat auto-adjusting rear shock absorbers, which keep the ride stable even with a full load of people in the back (we fit eight people in there comfortably once).

There's a big price difference, though... if you can't afford the Santa Fe, the Sorento isn't a bad choice, although the Everest and Fortuner offer more usable space in the same price range than the Sorento.

The Sorento works better in the rough stuff (it has a real frame, live rear axle, and low range).

Otherwise, the Sta. Fe will run rings around it.

if you can wait for the new sorento it comes with a new 2.5 CRDi w/ VGT engine (same as the new starex). But no definite date yet when it will come to our shores.

The SF is best for on road driving. Best to test drive both before you decide. You will find the SF has lots of advantages over the sorento

Wait mo na lang 2008 since mukhang promising bagong Sorento. Sabi kasi "profile that wouldn't be out of place at a GMC or Jeep dealership. And from the interior shot, Kia's definitely moving further into Cadillac and even Lexus territory". Tapos base engine in asia will be 3.0 V6 CRDI and will seat seven.

wow.. but why doesnt kia bring it over this year? is it because they brought the new carnival first? and why is the 2.9 li CRDi of the carnival not yet vgt? OT ba?

anyway, 2008 is a long wait.. so for now, its the sta fe over the sorento..

Yan ang magandang itanong sa Columbian na nag handle ng KIA sa pinas.Maski nga VGT Sorento na matagal na available sa ibang market until now wala pa rin sa pinas.

My needs dictates go for the Santa Fe, but I don't mind having a Sorrento either. Both are very good SUVs.
