    Vios 1.5G around 240k
i just want to ask kung meron kayong kilala near my place and also kung ok ba bumili ng gantong price na vios?

also im thinking to check an altis din pero tingin niyo which is better Vios or Altis?

May nakita nako Vios 04 1.5AT kaya lang mileage is 164K casa maintained lady driven used for office driving saka napunta nadin nila ng baguio couple of times mahilig ata sila mag OOT , price 235L , tingin niyo goodbuy naba para saken? nahihirapan nako mag hanap eh nahihirapan nadin ako mag commute )

so far naman ang finances ko i can save up to 12k a month rekta talaga sa bangko yun so parang may 12k akong pang maintenance a month if ever it breaks down . please advice sa mga experts!

slow down, sir! patience has its virtues.
buy a lemon this early, and you'll be drinking lemon juice for the rest of the year..
you might even consider an older vios that has been meticulously cared for by its owner. after all, the vios line has, i believe, not changed significantly from the start..

If I'm not mistaken, the engine has been around since the 90s (Toyota Vitz, bB... )

Worth it naman.

What I'm saying is, don't limit yourself na maghanap lang ng unit within your area. Marami naman nagbebenta ng Vios eh, if you think the car is okay... give it a shot. Puntahan mo kahit nasa bulacan pa yan. After all, lahat ng pagod eh masusulit kapag okay yung kotse. Hindi ka pa manghihinayang sa 240T mo.

Thank you thank you mga serr

Mataas yung mileage for a 10 yr old car. Don't rush yourself in buying a new car, P240k is a serious amount of money and you don't wanna end up with a money pit of a car.

I would not suggest going to a car dealer since they add up to the price of the car pa. I'd rather buy from a direct seller. If you know nothing about cars then you absolutely have to find someone who can help you. Do you really wanna risk P240k? It's not a guarantee that a car is well maintained just because it's sold by a car dealer.

car dealers make a living by jacking up the price of their cars on sale.
private owners are sometimes easier to get discounts from, especially those who really do not need the money. they are, i believe, also more honest in narrating the condition of their car.
as renzo says, have an adventure looking for that elusive car!

    i wish i can tell you where to get a mechanic's-opinion-for-hire, but i can't.

Pwede ko kaya ipa check sa toyota mismo if ever since wala akong kakilalang mechanic baka sila mas makita nila mga upcoming repais na kailangan

    lady driven = laspag

Reminds me of my friend who never had an oil change since she bought her car. It broke down na lang (overheat). Naubusan ng langis. I asked her how regular is her oil change and she said she was not aware that a car needs regular oil change.

I guess when advertisers say lady driven it's supposed to give the impression that the car is all stock since male drivers are more inclined to make mods. When it comes to non car enthusiasts buying second hand cars, mas okay di masyado kinalikot.

Lady driven implies that the car was driven slowly and with care, engine was not raced and suspension not overworked. Also oil and other fluids was never or rarely changed and mechanicals never or rarely inspected.

^^^ what walter said is true, for my experience, i currently have a car that is lady driven before, kahit nga its 7 years old na,
parang feeling ko hindi pa nabrebreak in ng maayos, pigil pa makina, so i decided to do some "exercise" para mag-loosen.

and ayaw ko lang sa lady driven ride is, they do not care for the car's body & paint (well for my experience), matino nga makina,

Its safe not to make assumptions.

But all the observations are true amongst lady drivers..

Have you known a girl, Who pops the hood every morning, check their dip stick? Water? And other fluids? Do they warm up their engine before they go? Do they check their tire pressure?

Well, for my experience ulit, the lady driver i got my car from, meh mga dings and dent nga yung unit.
BUT, in fairness to her, all casa records are present, kahit out of warranty yung car, sa casa padin maintenance,
and maarte pa sa PMS, like she includes those casa flushings sa kotse (a/c, injector/fueltank and oil flushing),

My sister is like that though she does make mistakes from time to time like when she put in the wrong type of fluid in the brake fluid container last year. She checks her tyre pressure every week and maintains it at 32psi. She's an oddball.

Women may not have the usual maintenance routine to us men, but you might want to agree, pag sila naman nagpagawa ng sasakyan nila.. Palit kung palit, oem kung oem.. Yaw nila yung tipong pwede naman surplus, or pwede naman replacement.. My sister is like that.. Palitan yung kailangan paltan, ask the casa for available parts etc etc..
