What the.. Ganun ba logic nun? Maingay para marinig ng pedestrians? I don't think so.

Electric cars are now required to make noise at low speeds so they don’t sneak up and kill us | The Verge

This is to prevent these vehicles from injuring pedestrians, especially people who are blind or are visually impaired.

    ^eto pa isa...

Are hybrid vehicles too quiet? | Boston.com

NHTSA says the ruling is “to help pedestrians who are blind or have low vision detect the presence, direction, and location of these vehicles,” perhaps because the American Council for the Blind lobbied for the regulation.

However, this should be a big assist to all pedestrians who use our roads.

Puro vibration yun inside the compound.

Yes there is a minimum sound requirement for electric cars because they are too quiet to be heard by pedestrians, cyclists, the blind and others. Now for cars with combustion engines i am not so sure

i prefer low engine noise while driving. and low engine noise also means low cabin noise which is good especially when you have a good SQ car audio set up.

    "noisy" is relative.
personally, i prefer some amount of engine noise.
i want some amount of feedback.
    "but not too much."

    For me, it depends...

Daily driver - I want it as quiet as possible

Ang naiisip ko lang na use ng engine noise is when driving a manual...

For me, I prefer low to no engine noise. Specially that I drive on a daily basis. I am really sensitive with any noise.

Hehehe

For me mas gusto ko tahimik na sasakyan.

Pero yung loob ng car, the higher the luxury the better the insulation, kaya dapat no engine noise.
