    Hello mga Bossing,

Tanong ko lang po, is it worth it to trade in my Honda Civic FD 1.8v M/T 2006(100k+ Mileage) to Mazda 3 1.6v 2009(60+ Mileage)
Already checked the unit with my mechanic and so far ok naman siya.

Please Give your Opinions for this
    Thanks.

    imho... no.

    a. the FD has a higher resale value
    b. the FD is more powerful.
    c. the FD has better fuel consumption.
    d. the FD is bigger.

post this in the honda thread, and they will say, no.
post it in the mazda thread, and they'll say, yes.
    heh heh.

so what do you want with the mazda, that the honda does not give you?

my opinion.. takaw tingin lang yan.
wait a few weeks and see if the urge will go away...

Nope! Because luma pa rin ipapalit mo and at the same time hinde ka naman talaga nag upgrade.

Keep the Civic FD, unless you trade it for a more sporty or more upscale sedan (like a Mazda6 or Accord).

Keep the FD. The pre-Skyactiv Mazda 3 (esp. the 1.6) is a known fuel hog.

Same thoughts here, if it's the looks department alone you are after for then IMO, I wouldn't consider it as an upgrade. Performance wise, I find the mazda 3 1.6 variant sluggish compared to a civic FD. The civic FD also has a stiffer more solid suspension.

Baka naman you are after the fact that the mazda 3 is a AT car and your current FD is a MT. If this is the case on why are considering and tamad ka na mag MT then I guess your reason has some validity on it.

FD 2006 MT is around 350k max.
    2007 Innova Diesel G is around 450-500k.

wala akong narinig na issue ng innova, but if you are planning to get one, get the diesel variant. costs around 550-600k.
compare prices ka pa..... tentative figures lang yung binigay ko above.

^ iyong mga unang innova na nilabas nagka-problema sa leaking fuel tank. my mechanic told me earlier today about this problem of his client. parang twice niya na trinatrabaho

i think i read about that innova problem here in this forum too

Beyond that, the fuel pump issues seem more prevalent for earlier Innovas, but at this point, if it's running fine, it's either not going to be a problem or they've put in an upgraded pump already.

The Innova is a more practical car than the Civic... but you have to make sure there are no hidden issues.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
