Usually in the media and reviews ang cinocompare nila are the mid ranges and top of the lines. But what about their Base Model where there is also a significant market?

BAse Model for all Brands are 4x2 and Manual Transmission. So which vehicle is Bang for the Buck in terms of:

    Reliability
    Performance
    Maintenance
    and Pogi Points.

    Need your inputs sirs

I'd easily remove the base mu-X LS, a big car worth 1.4M without ABS? Nope. And even if it has, super bare pa din sa loob, no rear wiper too.

The Everest impressively retains a comprehensive list of active safety features for the Ambiente.

Theoretically the 1.9 consumes the least amount of fuel and also the lowest maintenance cost, as advertised sa introduction video niya.

parang wala naman kwenta pagusapan eto comparo na to kasi manual transmission. sa sobrang hirap ng traffic ngaun, magdagdag ka na lang ng pang automatic eh para naman ma-feel mo binile mo. malaki halaga din yan mga base model stripped down na yan more than 1Mil then eh.

for me, id settle for a civic sedan at na lang kesa sa mga cars na yan or maybe a titanium ecosport or totl vitara

    Sir dr. d

As long as po na talagang properly driven at maselan sa maintenance, any minor problem at remedyo agad.. yes!

    kahit city driving/highway..

as long as po na talagang proper maintained, prolonged po ang life..

as we progress and technology progresses, so is the way we do things. we are all getting used to automated things like smartphones and automatic washing machines. we are all living a fast paced life. Ngaun, if one is to access an email, just press the screen and load the email app.

dati, one has to switch on the AVR, then the computer, then wait for everything to load such as the OS, then browser, but wait you forgot to connect to wifi.

pero with a smartphone, almost instantaneous na halos, reply chat view search.

ganun din sa cars, MT is just too crude to operate even if you are old school as you claim to be. kasi even if you say you're not lame and tough as nails as the 90s kids who can handle Pajero 90s manual transmission, you grew old. your brain and your body are not as energetic as before.

think of a ppv as a heavy equipment machine. today most loaders and excavators are operated by joysticks (or drive by wire) not long levers or big switches. if you get a big car now that is MT, sooner or later the burden of operating it will get to you.

Majority ng PPV's, AT lahat, 4x2 or 4x4..

    heh heh.
going home from the mall one day, i handed over the keys to my niece, whose DL was still quite new.
she sadly shook her head, "ninong, i don't know how to drive MT..."

Di rin siguro nanakawin kahit marunong sila mag manual. Mahirap din kasi ibenta M/T.

Agreed. This is not actually the model I'm considering mas may higher variant pa cla na M/T but with same features sa entry level na A/T.

I would really not recommend this model. Parang pinilit lng talaga ibaba un price but to sacrifice safety features.

Like I said may market pa ang ganitong models that's why nga inooffer pa ng lahat ng suv brand that I mentioned right? And I think you're not part of that market. Kasi nga may mga kautalad mo na di marunong or di kayang mag manual so malamang sa A/T lng ang choice mo...

May mga katulad ko pa kc who enjoys being in control of the vehicle.

Since medyo na off topic yung thread at napunta sa MT vs AT

    Let me give my opinions.

We own a Monty, i've test drived a Fort, my cousin owns an everest, my cousin works as a customer support for GM (chevrolet manufacturer)

Between the monty and fort (since yun palang nahahawakan ko) mas gusto ko handling ng monty. Mas smooth at magaan dahil galing akong sedan bago mag SUV. Mas malaki ang circumferential turn ng fort sa monty so it says a little bit about the difference.

Everest has really great safety features being an american car. And ang competitor nya na american, si chevy, according to my cousin, wag daw muna bibili ng chevrolet. Hindi dahil sa naninira ako or what pero he mentioned that there are safety issues ang chevrolet and marami ang call backed cars.

Mux, not much i can say about it.

Terra though, it looks really good and gustong gusto ko sya masubukan.
