I'm thinking of getting a 323f this month and I think parts shouldn't be a problem kasi may tsikoteers naman na mapagtatanungan (I've browsed the Mazda thread and Protege Mazda and Autorama ring a bell).
The choice is basically because of the looks. I don't really care much about the pop-up headlights since I think an aftermarket foglamp could help in times of breakdown....
BUT the fuel consumption?
Is Mazda fuel consumption really that bad like the old wive's tales?
1st choice: 323f Astina (porma and price is low)
2nd choice: Lancer Gti (EFI and price is low)
3rd choice: Civic hatch (price too high may not be worth it)
I'm choosing only between the three. Your thoughts on those cars would be most appreciated and will much help make a right decision...

Yung 323f kasi ok din porma, expected ko nga lang na takaw gas talaga (sabi nila) although I've never driven a Mazda pa to say that..

back to topic:
Civic EG hatch gets my vote. although mahal nga siya pero may nag-offer dati sa akin na straight swap with my lancer pizza el. hindi ko lang kinuha kasi impractical as a spare car. since, toy car mo naman, ok lang.
