mga bossing, family have decide to avail a brand new 5 plus passenger vehicle in the near future, dumadami na kase kami, we had our choices but seems to have many questions to ask for ourselves, so hingi po ko tulong sanio since may mga nakagamit na po ng mga autos mentioned. pa share po ng hands on experienced and any recommendations po.

practicality
resale value
capacity
reliability
fuel consumption (Diesel or Gas variants)
maintenance
engine reclaim(reklamo)
air con

additional: have 1st hand experience driving this three vehicles but seems to have the same level of satisfaction for our personal perceptions. anyways di naman talaga naten makikilala ang sasakyan naten kung di naman aten talaga yun.

Pero on refinement alone, ibang level na yung Innova compared to the other two, Revo pa yung katapat ng mga yan eh.

Resale value, usually mataas Toyota and Isuzu, not so much yung Mitsubishi, pero hindi naman tinitignan masyado to, bibili pa lang ng kotse, may balak agad ibenta.

Kung based sa tatlong choices na to, I'll get the D-4D Innova, leagues better than both the adventure and crosswind in almost every category. It's interior and exterior are right for its time and it has 2 airbags and ABS with EBD already. The other two don't have safety features besides the seatbelts.

practicality - Innova G ( the price is lower than the Xwind yet the design is newer )
resale value - Innova & Crosswind
capacity - Crosswind / Adventure
reliability - Crosswind ( subok na )
fuel consumption (Diesel or Gas variants) - Crosswind ( obvious naman diba? :hysterical: )
maintenance - I`d pick innova for this
engine reclaim(reklamo) - INNOVA ( d4d problems ) ; CROSSWIND ( it`s speed )
air con - INNOVA and CROSSWIND

- Id still pick the innova, why? Aside from its badge, the design is still new unlike the adventure and the crosswinds. Durability and reliability, yes it goes upon with the crosswind, just look at the claims of the Xwind owners.

practicality - more or less the same pero mas mahal talaga yung Innova

resale value - Innova

capacity - comfy seating Adventure (9), Crosswind (9), Innova (7) pinaka comfy yung Innova

reliability - more or less the same

fuel consumption (Diesel or Gas variants) - In order: Crosswind, Adventure, Innova diesel or gas

maintenance - In order: Adventure, Crosswind, Innova

Yung D4d issues ng Innova wala pa akong nakikita after 2 years of ownership

air con - Malamig naman lahat.

I'd still choose the Innova. Another thing worth noting is build quality.

I will have to vote for the crosswind I know madami di mag aagree,
pero based on experience po from owning a crosswind
why?
resale value..normal sa lahat Toyota siempre, eto copy paste from an ad site ayosdito.ph,..parang dikit lang

05 TOYOTA INNOVA J / Diesel -05 550 000 PHP
Toyota Innova G Gas Manual Transmission -07 669 000 PHP
Toyota Innova 2.00 J -08 618 000 PHP
Toyota innova j -05 570 000 PHP

Isuzu Crosswind XUVi SPORTIVO A/T Diesel -05 670 000 PHP
ISUZU CROSSWIND XTi '07 -07 690 000 PHP
Isuzu Crosswind XUVi LTD A/T Diesel -04 650 000 PHP
Isuzu Crosswind XUV Diesel Manual -03 530 000 PHP
capacity- equal na yan 5 plus sila lahat
reliability- read the high miler isuzu thread
maintenance-after 50k mileage puro changeoil lang ako every 5k at cheap pa na langis, 140k na total na mileage same as before parin..
engine reclaim(reklamo) isuzu makupad at mausok,
air con- lahat naman yan malamig

basta gagamitin mo ng 5 years or 100k and beyond, pero walang masyado finesse go for crosswind, pag di naman, at you also want comfort at better top speed innova or adventure..

sorry mga bossing, kala ko pinaka highest variant ng innova is innova g, may innova v pala...e sa advie po b? sa xwind is we're eyeing for XUVi rather than sportivo, di ko po lam kung parehong xwind yun, or sportivo and XUVi are variants of the crosswind? what im looking for is the highest variant of these cars with your highest repect? and would you buy that choice if opportunity comes? thanks po ulet god bless

practicality - innova
resale value - innova
capacity - kung 6 footer kayong mga sasakay, innova
reliability - innova
fuel consumption (Diesel or Gas variants) - kung tipiran lang.. crosswind diesel
maintenance - innova
engine reclaim(reklamo) - innova D4D sigurp marami reklamo, di kolang alam ngayon

Innova V has 2 captain seats at the 2nd row instead of the 3 capacity bench seats of the G variant. Mas maraming makakaupo sa G pero mas komportable yung 2nd row ng V. Mas madali rin pumasok sa 3rd row ng V kasi hindi mo na kailangan i-fold yung 2nd row to get to the 3rd row. V seats come with genuine leather. Pricey nga lang. We got the G instead, marami kasi kami haha.

ok din ba kung mag AT? since it will be for city driving most of the time. ano po ba problem sa D4D engine ng innova? nag break down kame ng choices kanina ng family, ang top scorer ay yung innova V or G kung alin kaya ng mortgage this coming end of the year, matatapos na kase sa vios eh.la bang turbo charger ang innova diesel variant? does it come with it? second placer lang yung XUVi kase medyo napag-iiwanan na nga siya ng panahon. la pa masyado bagong features.but also tried and tested na yung engine niya kase yun yung makina ng jeepney ng tiyuhin ko eh, got it from blumentrit ata , or is it the past xwind engine, limot ko yung engine code hehehe the advie naman medyo malabo na kase have heard problems sa engine nito particularly the timing belt/chain, yung sa tito ko kase twice na nagkaproblem dun but that advie was for public transport purpose so maybe laspag na kase.

Mataas ang price ng Carens compared to the biggest car in this comparo, and you will be sacrificing a lot of space. Although I do like the Carens, kasi mas advanced na yung engine nya.

Ok naman ang A/T although expect a penalty of around 1-2 Km/L on FC. But your left foot will thank you for it. Browse around the Innova forum so you could get an idea what the owners think. The D4D does have a turbo, although boost is somewhat low for me. If you plan to use it in the city most of the time the diesel A/T is the way to go.

All D-4D engines of Toyota installed in the Innova and its IMV brothers are equipped with turbo chargers already. Regarding the A/T, ok rin yung fuel consumption niya. It averages around 8-9 km/l city driving and 11-12 highway. D-4D hard starting and choking problems as far as I know have already been solved. Just take precautionary measures, fill up with diesel from the newer gas stations in the city. I know this since I also drive my dad's Innova G D-4D A/T 2008 sometimes. The engine is quite responsive as well, and power isn't lacking with peak torque coming in at 2k rpm so overtaking won't be much of a problem unlike the reaaaaaaally slow crosswind.

The Innova G seats more since it's 2nd row are bench-type. The Innova V seats less but the people who would be seating at the captain seats would be much more comfortable.

Well between the 2, if you would ask me yes I pick the Innova V. The right color would be the gray metallic (?) ( not sure of the term but the shade is albeit grayish silver metallic ) okay whatever, the perfect accessories would be the roof rack and the spoiler. :2thumbsup:

On the crosswinds side. You cant go wrong with its reliability and it's ultra nice fuel consumption. But well, you'll be somewhat be disappointed with its speed ( so what, atleast your car could be harassed ) Yeah, the style is somewhat old even with it's new features such as amber turn lamps and new front grille.

My verdict would be the innova, well since youll just be more of a city girl. It's simply just perfect for you and your family.

Just to add to renzo's post, what he meant was the medium silver metallic color. It's pretty classy looking, quite uncommon on the streets since it's exclusive on the G and V variants. The G D-4D A/T would be perfect for you actually. Seats 8, fuel efficient, quite powerful and responsive, comfortable, and has safety features none of its two competitors have.

Compare the Adventure Grand Sport and Xwind Sportivo variants din kasi. Proud Adventure owner here hehe.

resale value - Lahat

capacity - Crosswind - Innova - Adventure (yup adventure nga pinakamasikip)

reliability - Lahat

fuel consumption (Diesel or Gas variants) - Xwind he3 sa Diesel. Sa gasoline Innova.

maintenance - Lahat

engine reclaim(reklamo) - Wala naman sa tatlo. When it comes to engine, sa Adventure ako, all kinds of abuse na makikita mo, matindi talaga ang engine nito.

Yung adventure at innova madaling maabot ang 120km/h.

diesel engine - Xwind, Advie, Innova (I can't seem to compare diesel engines of Toyota to Isuzu and Mitsubishi.)

aftermarket parts - adventure he3.

Conclusion: Kahit ano naman sa tatlo eh pwede mong bilhin since lahat sila eh matagal na sa market and wala ka namang pagsisisihan jan sa tatlo na iyan hehehe.

The thing is walang safety features sa crosswind and adventure kahit sa high end models nila. Of course if you're spending around 1M, you could at least add a driver's side airbag. At this time and age, airbags and ABS should already be mandatory and I would rather have it and not use rather than not have it at all.

advie GLS vs innova G vs crosswind XUVi vs mga kalevel
