Bros, yes.-but 2016 Overall Hyundai at 33Kunits , and approx 10% of the market, is equivalent [in number] to just two models for Toyota- for the first nine months....

Just goes to magnify the mighty Toyota brand....

Based on this article, Hyundai's share is even less than 7%.....

Of course, Hyundai can argue that their company's growth is higher than the industry's....

Top market performer for 2016 is still Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation with 44.14% market share. Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation follows with 17.08% share. Stable at third is Ford Motor Company with 9.37% market share. Isuzu Philippines Corporation is sitting at fourth place with7.61%. At fifth is Honda Cars Philippines, Inc with 6.45% market share.
216 is Another Grand Year for Automotive Industry with 24.6% Growth - CAMPI

Yes I know bro.,,- that was why I stated "approx 10%".

Where did I get the swag? if you look at the combined Fortuner and HiAce at approx 31K they're combined market share was approx 12%.... So, approx 10% should be in the ballpark...

See my next entry "less than 7%" as HCP being at 5th has 6.45% market share.... That should be it.

Now, again 50% growth may mean something for the investors,- but less than 7% share of the market is something much more significant that Hyundai should seriously address....

The Montero Sport Sales sucked. they need to extend their "discounts" and bring in the xm soon.

    Agree bro.

Even with P150k discount, its sales is way below the competition.

Ito kasi mga fortuner at montero for its size and price eh madami nababaliw lalo na sa entry level.

Lets look at the price of fortuner models

    TOYOTA FORTUNER 4x4 V 2.8 Dsl A/T*new
    Php2,126,000.00

    TOYOTA FORTUNER 4x2 V 2.4 Dsl A/T*new
    Php1,736,000.00

    TOYOTA FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.4 Dsl A/T*new
    Php1,476,000.00

    TOYOTA FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.4 Dsl M/T*new
    Php1,386,000.00

    TOYOTA FORTUNER 4x2 G 2.7 Gas A/T*new
    Php1,392,000.00

So kita nyo ang matino fortuner jan yung 1,386 to 1,476million. Personally ang type ko jan gasoline model kasi im not into diesel black smoke. Ayoko din makipagsabayan pipila sa fuel station tapos nasa harap ko fejodap, pasang-masda. Nasaan ang angas kung bubugahan lang ako sa likod ng mga yan. Kaya gas ako tapos direcho petron blaze all alone.

Deadmahin nyo yung 1,736 to 2,126 million models. Nagsasayang lang kayo ng pera jan. Mag FJ cruiser na lang kayo Php1,844,000.00

Lets look at montero price list

Montero Sport GT 2.4D 4WD AT
    2,000,000
Montero Sport GLS 2.4D 4WD MT
    1,788,000
Montero Sport GLS Premium 2.4D 2WD AT
    1,688,000
Montero Sport GLS 2.4D 2WD AT
    1,555,000
Montero Sport GLX 2.4D 2WD MT
    1,395,000

From SUA to saklay. Pag na SUA ka eh gagamit ka ng saklay. Match na match.

So malabo talaga maging mabenta montero ngayon puro negative eh. Ang maadvice ko bilhin nyo eh pinakamura manual trans model lang pero wag kayo papayag na 150thou discount. Dapat flat 1miilion yan

Montero Sport just offered the 1.280M GLX M/T meaning it will be 100K to 150k off just like when they offered the non-VGT Montero na sub !M years ago

    so 1.280M - 150K eh di 1.13M na lang

so add 100K then Mitsu will offer the 1.23M GLX AT sometime in March

    so predictable

Tbz and colorado sales dropped significantly thanks to newer and more affordable choices.

For 1yr 700ish passenger cars lng nabenta ng tccci. That hurts...

that data only shows that the PUV race is not bulletproof

This year, forego your purchase Muna. The PuV selling people incl. banks and insurance companies will be shocked as they're expecting more sales

Wait for Mitsu to drop all their fully-packed Monteros. And then it will start
