Patulong naman. Balak po kasi nanay ko bumili ng bagong car, specifically Pick-up.

Pinagpipilian namin Hilux G 2.4 At at Ranger 2.2 Xlt AT
Open naman for other brand suggestion. Thank you mga sirs!

My mom doesnt drive, she just want another one. Though we are really loyal to Toyota, but she wants to try other brand, specifically Ranger. We have a midsize SUV and now she wants pickup. I think she's fed up with Toyota.

Since you have the fort getting to test drive that hilux and ranger is easy. have your mom experience the leafspring setups by driving 5km.

Maybe you can test that transmission also on the hilux.

The new ford ranger will arrive in 2yrs. I would wait for that instead of your current choices.

4/5 in our family hates ford. Hahahaha! My point here is mom is really eyeing on the ranger. Im just getting some opinions or supporting facts, so that I wont or we wont regret on this purchase. Though dmax, colorado and strada is out of our choice. Mom doesnt want navarra. Period. So its gonna be Hilux or Ranger.

Base on reviews and feedbacks, Ranger has better ride quality. Though I still see a lot of owners of both models replace their shocks and springs.

Same dilemma here. We end up getting the dmax for its leather seats and ESC. Ride is stiff due to the 18" stock rims. Sound insulation improved a lot for 2017 model. Power? No problem since we got a M/T

If youre filthy rich, go for 3.2. Otherwise 2.2 is enough.
