Newbie asking CAR SUGGESTIONS (300-400k budget)

greetings to every people that might be reading this.

gusto ko po sana bumili ng kotse. and this is my first car. estudyante lang po ako and wala po alam mxdo alam sa kotse. mas ok po sana pag fuel efficient at maporma din kasi bata pa ko. hehe.

i have a 300-400k budget. any suggestion po ng kotse. and kung anu po ang advantage at disadvantage nito.

i looked the net po and i saw SiR, honda civic 2001-2005. ayang dlwa po yung ngustuhan ko yung itsura and sa ibang mga nalalaman ko khit papano.

so patulong naman po mga paps. salamat!

SiR? Overpriced. Most likely din, laspag or pinangkarera na.
ES Civic? Good car, pero kung gusto mo ng fuel efficient, maraming mas matipid dito.

My suggestion would be a 2006 Toyota Vios 1.5G.



Pros
- Tipid sa gas (better than anything in its price range)
- Madali i-maintain
- Maganda i-dress up (this is the facelifted 1st gen model with the more aggressive look)
- Mabilis (if you get the manual tranny)

Cons
- Medyo masikip (fitting 5 can be a squeeze if they're fat)
- Very common on the road
- Not a very exciting car

tsaka kung may alam po kayo nag bebenta ng civic na 2001-2005 and ng mga isusuggest niyo po much better and appreciated. salamat!

TS, basta kung kukuha ka Jazz, wag yung CVT. Manual lang. Kung AT balak mo, Vios na.

BTW, puro 1.3 Jazz yung nasa price range mo. Unlike pag Vios 1.5 na. You might want to take that into consideration.

Most practical is an MT Vios or an MT Jazz.

At a 400k budget, you might want to look at how much you can swing in monthly payments. 400k + light monthly payments will get you a brand new micro-car or even (if you can swing the payments on the 180-200k balance) a new Vios or Mazda2.

kung fifth year ka na, ay medyo hindi nga sulit na bumili ng brand new.
ngunit kung entering freshman ka pa lang, ay 4-5 years mong magagamit at ma-enjoy yung brand new car. sulit na sakin yan. puede mo pang mabenta nang magandang presyo as graduation gift.

Bro kung maextend mo 500k pwede na yan civic fd kung priority mo porma. Hehe! Malakas nga lang kumain ng gas. Same lang tyo student, ako 4th yr na this opening. I have an fd pero ibbenta na kasi uupgrade na sa suv, ung mas matipid sa gas tsaka problema dn kasi ang height ko pag sedan ang kotse. Mababa na para saken.

wala na bro e. 300-400 nlng tlga. kasi sabi ng father ko kung maglalabas daw ng 500 bkt hndi pa brand new bilin. then the fact the hndi na praktikal pag brand new pa bblin ko.. 4th yr na din ako this coming june. gusto ko din tlga yan. kasi napaka pogi pag pinormahan. kaso hndi n pasok sa mga conditions sa buhay ko now e. hehe.

Pinakaporma and offering fuel efficiency at the same time is the Civic VTi-S M/T. Maganda na performance niyan, maluwag sa loob, maganda tingnan at fully loaded na with all the safety features. Parang Accord na ang dating ng interior niya, napakalayo sa mga cheaper subcompacts.

Speaking of slightly used car, medyo mataas pa nga ang budget mo na 400k e. If you are wise enough to check cars magazine.

With 250k you can get a decent car na nga e. With 400k pwede ng naka set-up with h22 engine e.

Wise buy lang talaga.
