+1000 on the colorful language comment hahaha

"Deplorable engineering, disgrace of a transmission" in the Ford Focus, Fiesta and Ecosport-- guy doesn't mince words (these three cars aren't even on his list, just mentioned in passing)

Two of those on his list are described as the two heads of Cerberus guarding the gates of hell, a factory is called "what food becomes after it has been fully digested"...

    9/10 would watch again

I like being direct to the point. I got bored halfway on the first SUV. So, I just moved the video slider to see each featured clunker.

Gee. I kinda liked Nissan's new Pathfinder. I guess I'm taking it out of consideration as a replacement for my Sonata.

well kia philippines is ok. they allowed me to bring my own oil and filters, remove items in the job order that i can diy (e.g., brake cleaning), etc. it is hyundai h.a.r.i. dealerships that milks its customers to the max. price na lang ng spare parts layo na ng difference nilang dalawa.

    O.T. re: brake cleaning.

Do you follow specific steps for this especially for ABS-equipped cars?
    Compressed air or brake cleaner?
What type of grease is recommended for the brake pads? Is it necessary?

I've been DIYing our Innova since 15,000km (change oil, change filters, etc) but I have yet to clean the brakes.

make sure the hand brake is not engaged (unless the hand brake is a drum-in-disc affair). if possible pry the brake pads from the disc with a screw driver. i use either brake cleaner or crc. in fact even a high pressure washer can clean the brake pads. remember the objective is to clean the pads and not the disc so anything that will remove brake dust from in between the brake pad slots will work. it is the brake dust that accumulate in those slots that will lessen the braking power.

the abs sensor is inside the assembly so it is not a worry.

grease? why would you put grease on brake pads e di mababawasan ang braking power nun.

di ba innova is drum brake sa likod? you'll need to remove the wheel and open the drum to be able to clean that. make sure you have a proper vehicle stand, safer kesa pag jack lang gamit mo.
