    Hi!

I'm planing to buy new car but until I'm still struggling which is the best buy with this 2 cars City 1.5E AT or Vios 1.5G AT.

    considerations:
    1. fuel consumption
    2. maintenance
    3. performance
    4. value for money
    5. comfort
    6. luggage space

Any inputs will be much appreciated.

    1. fuel consumption - same
    2. maintenance -vios
    3. performance - same
    4. value for money - city ( has better resale value)
    5. comfort- vios ( personally i find the city a lil harsh at the back even when you drive it compared to the vios but its tolerable and sometimes you wont notice it at all)
    6. luggage space - city.

If you're looking for a point A-B car that will take you there hassle-free, Vios for sure.

If you'd like the extra porma, some additional features (like the paddle shift etc), then you may want to consider paying more for the City.

Was in the same dilemma two years ago. Got the city. Better looking, more features, newer body etc. Found it to be a better buy than the vios.

Now at 30,000 km no problems. 30k service cost about 4000 pesos. I think I made the right choice. Although I sometimes think I should have gotten a suv instead.

Iniintay ko ang tirada ni GTi... Sasabihin nun get the Accent or Elantra

Get the Honda City E, medyo di ok yung grille at foglamp garnish ng current Vios 1.5G.

    1. fuel consumption - the same
    2. maintenance - city = every 6 months or every 10k km vs vios every 3 months or every 5k km
    3. performance - city = 118hp vs vios = 107hp
    4. value for money - City ( high resale value + prestigious brand)
    5. comfort- Vios ( the city is a little bit harsh (sportier ride) but the difference is not really evident enough)
    6. luggage space - City

Haha~ obsessed ka na sa paghahabol ng mga posts ko! Wala pa nga inaanticipate mo na ang response ko ah! But anyway, here's my opinion on the matter:
    FC: similar
maintenance: Vios (lower maintenance and parts costs)
    performance: City
value for money: tie (City has the higher resale value but the advantage is offset by the high purchase price and lack of extra amenities as compared to the Vios)
comfort: honestly medyo manhid ako so I can't comment too much in this department pero OK naman sila...
    luggage space: City

Between the two, I'd definitely get the City if I had the money, and pricier maintenance is no object. Or you can consider the Accent GLS or Elantra 1.6A/T as Starex_Gold so persuasively suggests me to suggest to you.

Same input with lochrisg888 though not really high on prestige

IMHO mahal narin pala Vios ngayon. They have this SE Limited version they recently released. With 15-inch TRD wheels, HID, limited-ed badge, sporty grille for 845k. Mas maganda parin yung dating XX Limited na nilabas nila.

    BTT: Go for the City.

actually bro 1.5 naman siya... pero me dating parin yung previous na XX Limited...

It may be too late but na-aapreciate ko lalo tuloy yung Yaris, might fit sana some requirements ni TS except #s 5 & 6... hehe.

Parang mas madating pa yung Vios 1.5 S than 1.5 XX LTD.

Honda City 1.5 E AT vs Toyota 1.5 G A/T
