Chevy Cruze LS M/T vs Toyota Altis G M/T 2014

Hi guys, i just want to know which is better between the two, in terms of ride comfort and fuel consumption.

Definitely the Altis.

The Cruze has the consumption of a 2.0 but the power of a 1.6.

The Altis on the other hand is much peppier (thanks to its great CVT) and has very large legroom. It also has stellar NVH for its class, which makes you feel cocooned and comfortable in the cabin.

The guy is asking about manual transmission, not CVT bro. I also wonder how the manual transmission of the all new corolla altis is? Ok lang ba siya? Matatag ba siya?

Even with the MT, the Cruze still has very long gears so it's still not a spirited drive despite the bigger engine.

The Altis has relatively close gearing but has a long 6th for highway travel, which makes it feel very lively in city driving while giving you decent economy in highway driving.

Hindi naman matagtag yung Altis - its key defining trait vs other compacts is that it's usually one of the most comfortable.

sa altis, it consumes an average of 11 kpl at pure highway and around 8-9 sa pure city.
however, figures ito nung Altis 1.6 G M/T 2012 ko ha? tingin ko almost similar din yan.

no idea on the cruze, but they say nasa 6-7 lang daw ang city, and around 8 highway.
