Among these relatively affordable sporty cars, alin ang pinakasulit?

Toyota 86 if you want to keep the car forever kasi first model yan Toyota pa. The Toyota name is bigger than Subaru.

sa Hyundai veloster, eto lang ang tanong. the Genesis coupe was released 2009, nagagandahan ka pa ba hanggang ngaun? if may dating pa rin sayo, sa tingin mo ba it will become like a legend. like for example yun nangyari sa Land Cruiser or FJ Cruiser sa reputation nila. I think not, Hyundais are good cars but never a legend, never timeless.

    so toyota 86.

    ---

ngaun, kung daily car. sabi ko sayo masakit, masakit apak-apakan ng jeep, l300fb, elf, crosswind / commuter uv express. pero yun lang talaga tingen ng mga drivers nato sa car na yan. it will be bullied no matter how prestigous it is. we live in third world country. SUV is king.

agree with mini 100%. both on t86, and on getting bullied by jeepneys and buses.

Its practically the same car, just a different badge. Both the GT86 and BRZ are made in a Subaru factory. They were developed jointly by Toyota and Subaru. Toyota is a minority partner of Subaru.

Nakalimutan mo ata, OB, na Toyota asked Subaru to help them with the design of the 86. Toyota could not have done the 86 without Subaru. Toyota has forgotten to design sporty cars. For the next Supra, Toyota asked BMW to help them out.

The 86 and BRZ are the same car. Toyota even uses the engine and tranny supplied by Subaru. However, Subaru used a different suspension setup (stiffer) on the BRZ making it a better car on the track than the 86.

I will get a more practical sports sedan or fun coupe than any of those three. It's either a Subaru WRX or a Mazda Miata.

Yes lam ko naman yun, pero it's the toyota badge that made this car popular not Subaru.
You cant have two classics say 20-25 years from now, ang hahanapin ng kabataan sa panahon na yun Toyota. who knows Subsru might not be existent by then , eh fast cars are not exclusive to Subaru na naman, even Hyundai makes fast cars.

The 86 would not even be reborn without Subaru. Most Toyota buyers would just have been contented with their TRD-badged cars.

It is practically 3 cars. The 86 was also marketed as the Scion FRS in North America.

pero ngaun when it comes to common-rail diesel si Hyundai may pakana

Sorry was not able to indicate budget is 2M below only. I also only found out that the BRZ is above 2M already so that one's out as well.

Do you need something with a manual tranny or an automatic tranny?

    Subaru WRX 6MT - 1.930 M
    Subaru WRX CVT - 2.008 M

    Mazda MX5 MT - 1.850 M
    Mazda MX5 AT - 2.050 M

Doesnt matter if auto or manual. I also do not want a 4-door sedan. Max 3 doors lang. Hehe.

Im a big guy 6 ft 200 lbs.so the MX5 is too cramped for me.
