I tried comparing the MUX and Everest side by side earlier. They're the two most spacious PPVs (okay the Trailblazer too but who buys that anyway).

Surprisingly, the MUX has more space overall. Even if the second row doesn't slide forward, there's still decent legroom for 3rd row passengers. That means you have a very spacious first and second row, and a 3rd row that's useable even for out of town trips.

The Everest can have the most 3rd row space, but it will come at the expense of the second row occupants. And even if you slide the second row all the way forward (making it quite cramped) it only has about an inch advantage over the 3rd row of the MUX.

Some pics to better illustrate - MUX (top), Everest (bottom, 2nd row pushed forward):

While the MUX (top) still has a spacious second row, the Everest (bottom) already ends up being cramped:

If you push the Everest's second row back, it becomes spacious, but the 3rd row suffers greatly:

The thicker seats of the Everest deprive it of that few more inches of space it needs to be a truly spacious 7 seater, even if it's almost 3 inches longer than the MUX in terms of exterior length.

Of course, space is just one aspect of PPV buying. There's still exterior and interior looks, build quality, features, price, handling, engine performance, reliability, resale value, and long-term parts availability to consider.

did you note down the position of the first row in relation to the B-pillar when you did this? or both fully slid back? baka kasi hindi equal ang position ng1st rows. sa akin kasi maluwag ang 2nd row behind the driver but cramped behind the front passenger or vice versa depending on if i'm driving or the c-in-c.

Yep. Adjusted the first row to my comfortable driving position para consistent, pinantay ko driver and passenger seats.

ano juts nag sisisi ka na bakit hOnda crv kinuha mo, sabi ko sayo wag ka gano paniwala hindi ganun ka -refined MUX. The Mux is one the best interiors out there coz of space and ergonomics. lam ko na yan, naki-ride on lang ako senyo na mas maganda kuno mga CRV, Montero. mas maganda nga hindi naman siguro pangmatagalan as compared to an Isuzu. I like underdogs. it seems nowadays, many are nagsisi sa pag-ignore sa MUX hihi, oh well ganun talaga pag crowd mentality.

sa tinde ng inflation ngaun 2018, many are realizing how bang for the buck talaga mUX, in terms of PMS, cabin design and even drivability. less wear and tear. I can even compare to our Pajero BK. that's why i call this mux, poor mans' Land Rover Defender hihih

Nacurious lang ako sa 3rd row ng mga MPV at PPV. Kasi yung mga forumer dito halos magpatayan na sa pagdefend ng mga favorite nila. Eh halos pare pareho lang naman. [emoji23]

Perhaps the picture doesn't do it as much justice. But look at how my entire foot is already under the second row seats on the Everest while there's a fair bit of room with the MUX. Also, my leg is already tilted away at an angle with the Everest because if I position it straight, my knees would hit the second row backrest already.

This is a better picture of the MUX 3rd row:

Looking closely with your photos, yeah mux wins the legroom space... [emoji106] this should be a winner for big family whose into space for 7seater and good FC (1.9 MUX)...

Winner agad? Actual viewing and riding of this vehicle is important before you declare it as a winner. Every person have their own preferences [emoji106]
