October 18th, 2017 12:04 AM #26641.4M++ na lang Trend after discounts
pero ang GLS premium 1.6M+ after discounts
so it all boils down to reverse camera, yun lang lamang ng GLS Premium talaga.
pero in terms of looks, and looking like a SUV, mas muka naman SUV ang Everest, in fact even the facelifted TBZ is more SUV-looking than this montero.

October 18th, 2017 12:19 AM #2665sa workhorse diesel SUV kase may pagka-traditional ako eh. case in point those Hyundai Vera Cruz, or Kia Borrego of the past. mga fluidic big body SUV designs, eh di ngaun wala na diba, they look common and forgetable.
kitams Pajero Fieldmaster, Range Rover/Land Rovers, timeless beauty diba. so apply nyo na din sa choices nyo ngaun diba, for me in the PPV race, Fortuner is #1 sa pagkatimeless yun tipong ang sarap iporma for outdoor 10, 15 years from now, then the Everest, then the TBZ, then MUX, then Montero. no offense to Montero owners today, pero it looks so futuristic today pero wala talaga sya future in terms of outdoor mods. parang Honda CRV 2nd Gen vs Honda CRV 1st gen, many opt to get used 1st gen and modify it for offroad look. eh CRV 2nd gen, muka AUV
tignan nyo to modified long wagon body Honda CRV 2nd gen. wala dating
pero eto lifted stock rims lang yan (old man emu+ offroad tires
which is more SUV looking in the long run. at least may flexibility kayo sa future pag sawa na kayo sa look ng PPV nyo. eh Montero wala eh muka lang sya pang-city talaga, th na pag ginawa offroader look

October 18th, 2017 01:55 AM #2667everest ako dyan sa options mo. mas comfortable ang everest dahil tahimik ang loob considering na diesel engine sya dahil sa active noise cancellation. na direct comparison ko ito dahil may montero yung biyenan ko. kahit sya aminado na mas tahimik ang cabin ng eve. mas maluwag seat width 2nd row ng eve. mas spacious likod ng eve and 3rd row seats folds flat. mas maganda din yung infotainment. sync 3 and with 10 speakers (w/ subwoofer) compared sa 8 ng montero. engine performance lamang ang montero though you can't beat that comfyness in the eve. sa tagtag, halos pareho lang sila. kung ayaw mo sa tagtag madali lang naman solution dyan (aftermarket shocks).
as for the discounts, meron yan kahit bank loan. goodluck.
ganyan din dillemma ko last time. although eve 3.2 and montero gt ang options ko noon. now i'm happy with my eve

You can't beat the transmission of the Monty and it doesn't drive as large as the Eve. However, I would still pick the Eve because of the lower price (discounts for the Trend are available, you have to haggle, kahit car loan) but still comes with better driving aids:
with Electronic Stability Program + Roll Stability Control
with hill launch assist
with trailer sway control
And it also comes with a better infotainment system and speakers. Active noise cancellation is also underrated as it actually adds comfort to the ride. The extra airbags and leather seats are icing on the cake.
E-parking brake is overrated and reverse camera can be installed. Push start is great but shouldn't be a deal-breaker.
All in all, you get more bang for your buck with the Eve.
