As per Niky, only the Trailblazer 2.8L was able to break 10 seconds on their 0-100kmh test. All the others are above 10 seconds.

Ford Everest Trend 2.2 AT 2W vs Mitsubishi Monterosport GLS 2.4 AT 2WD?

Which one is the best value for money?

Montero after discounts. They are heavily discounted..

For family of 5+ I would get the Trend

    +1
laking bagay yung S mode (no need to manually change gears). shifting is faster.

due to better 3rd row seats? pero mas maganda ingress and egress ng montero. sabagay inconvenient lang pag papasok at lalabas. it is when you're seated that really matters.

di kaya pwede gawing fold-n-tumble yung right side 2nd row ng eve?

125k ang discount ng Montero, but when I compared the features of the Mitsubishi Montero Standard - GLS AT 2WD vs yung Everest na Trend parang mas okay ang Trend, leather seats, side curtains, electronic steering and seat adjustments etc malayo sa feature set ni Montero nasa Premium ung feature na un.

We are a family of less than 5 so basically pasok na si Montero, natestdrive ko pala ung montero kahapon ung premium, di pa sya electronic steering, feel ko na medyo masikip sya compared sa everest, (coming from a ford ranger) pero takbo okay naman, di ako masyadong nadaan sa lubak kaya di ko nagauge ang suspension, di ko rin napatulin ng takbo dahil along mcarthur ko natest drive.

ano pa ibang findings nyo? medyo picky ako and i want to make sure na kung anuman kukunin ko eh worth talaga ng hard earned money. TIA

walang reverse camera ang Trend, sa panahon ngaun if you gonna buy a big hard to park suv like that you need a reverse cam. kasi usually mga tao bumibile ng mahal ng suv, executives eh, executive na laging nag-mumultitasking mag-isip habang nag-drive. they need that

so ano gusto mo, walang leather seats na Montero GLS STandard pero may reverse cam or may leather seats na Trend pero walang reverse cam.

madali lang i-add yung reverse cam. check out the ford everest 2015 thread.

ang hindi mo maa-add yung luwang ng internal space ng everest compared to montero. sabi nga nya na-test drive na at parang masikip. it is actually the difference between not being able to sit 4 average people in the 2nd row when needed (like if you have groceries and the 3rd row seats are folded down). di mo magawa yan sa montero with the 4 pax comfortably seated.

    Wa epek.

Even the Ranger, with 197 hp and a six speed MT, is slow.

Problem ng "Sport Mode" ng 6AT ng Ford, hold revs yan hanggang redline bago magshift.

For best acceleration sa highway, short-shift under 4k rpm (around 3600-3800 rpm, if I remember right).

Actually, should find some time to borrow a Monty to test. If I recall, mga 11 seconds siya... close to the old one. Dapat magandang launch para under 11.

You're about right for the Eve 3.2. It's around 12+. Super heavy kasi.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
