Though they have the roughest condition. They have good roads . Well engineered. The road cambers . Safety regulation. Clean air act. Etc . You are mentioning ford build tough. Yes but its on certain model. Not all model are tough.the car and sedan light vehicle. Are not reliable. While japs car are almost consistent in all line of models. Ive been in u.s for sometime and even work as partime mechanics during summer in vegas. Yet the car we repair are mostly american car. And my senior mechanics. Says that most of the americans dont like their products. Ford was previously no.1 in car manufacturing before. I thought they sell more because they are good. i found out that they produced car more than toyota because the govt support the company. Being standard fleet issue car such as ambulance and police car and many govt service own utilities. Thats makes its count more. But this fleet car dont profit much as retail does. And eventually coz of reliability issues jap car are preferred by many. Some americans still remember and question the Ford ethics of liability during its ford pinto case. Its even tackled in our class during my college years

Pero seryoso, sabi ng asawa ng tita ko sa US, Ford daw yung worst brand dun, di niya na mention kung bakit pero nasabi niya na "thats why you see a lot of Honda, Toyota and Lexus in the streets coz theyre the most reliable ones out there"

Sa pangit ng service nila dun, nagihing stereotype na, if Ford gamit mo, poor ka ganun. Same goes to Chevy. Sikat dito sa pinas kasi siyempre, American Brand. Although maganda rin features niya, the best probably dito sa pinas, pero brand yung issue dito para sakin. Reliability wise nope. We wouldve got a Ford if it werent for it.

We all know that toyota is no.1 not just locally but globally. I'm not loyal to any car brands and the eve is actually our first ford car.

Reliability? I think I will be the judge of that. So far, my unreliable car only need to be serviced starting at 10km then every after 10k/6months. No topup needed. Unlike others where you need to return to casa 4x a year.

Basta ako I won't compromise safety to reliability. Cars can be replaced but not the lives of your love ones.

Japan made vehicles.. yes its reliable...

Toyota and mitsubishi is now made in thailand...

you cant say thats its still toyota... iba and quality pag galing japan... iba din ang quality pag galing India or thailand...

Unlike others where you need to return to casa 4x a year.

Which cars are these? 4x a year? Hyundai? Kia?

In my case, Innova, I return to the casa only every 5k kms. 2x a year at most, sometimes only once every 10 months. And no, casa does not warn me that my warranty will be voided if I don't go back after so and so number of months irregardless of how many kilometres I've run.
