Agree that the number of Eves is on the rise, I enjoy and even honk twice whenever I see fellow New Eves out on the road. About Eve being the wildcard, it was in comparison with the new Monty and the upcoming Fort. There is a distinct possibility that the Eve may grab the second or even the first spot after all models have been released, tested and all orders/reservations have been delivered... yes, long shot this will be.

Maybe it would be more realistic to discuss what mid-size SUV will come next after the Fort and the Monty?
Or who would be #1, 2016 Fort or Monty?Last edited by Head-On; December 15th, 2015 at 11:25 AM. Reason: Addendum

Highly unlikely. People aren't flocking to the Everest just because they can't get an MU-X unit - they actually prefer the Everest despite being more expensive.
I like the MU-X's price, especially considering that it now comes with a 3-liter diesel. But the exterior is a mixed bag, and the interior is just hideous.
Between a 1.4M MU-X and 1.6M Fortuner/Everest, I'd definitely go for the latter.

The pricepoint of the mux is appealing to both suv and innova buyers. Dami ako nakikita MT models. But with the ever increasing traffic volume. The automatic 2.5s is the way to go for me that costs 1.358m. with 20k discounts thats 1.338M its a point-to-point appliance lng naman.
After 12months ive seen no major issues.

go everest na kayu lahat para maiba naman ang makikita sa mga kalsada.
but practicality wise.. malamng fort and monty parin bibilhin ng mga buyers between the 3 choices.
..at yung mas pinaka praktical yung isa pang SUV na wala sa 3 choices given.

de remate ang Fort kaya kahit huli ilabas, segunda ang Montero, banderang kapos ang Everest or MU-X by the end of 2016.

Battle on 2 fronts:
1. Who will be #1, Fort or Monty?
2. Who will be #3, Eve vs the rest of them, MU-X and TB
That is for the mid-size PPV SUV segment. Wala pa mga korean monocoques like the Sta Fe and the Sorento.
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
