The cars of the 90's has been one of the greatest era's of cars in the Philippines. If you were back in time and you had the cash to burn which would you buy and why?

*Please indicate what model, brand and type of the car.

    Let's get it rolling.

I would buy the SiR even if I hate this car so much (Well, not the car really but some owners who thinks that their car is the fastest in the world).

It's fast, ***y and it's a sedan so you can take it almost anywhere and space would not be an issue like a 2 door.

Engine has been rated very good but the plastics seem to fall off specially the bumper. I also liked the colors that they've released.

Overall Rating: 8/10 (The car still has flaws)

One that I did own was a Mazda MX-3 GS with a 1.8L V6 that screamed to redline. I loved that engine.

These are what I would still buy even up to now if I won the lottery, all would be part of my 90's collection.

BMW E30 M3-Before Honda came with VTEC this 2.3L 190hp was the best around.

BMW E34 M5-It raced at IMSA races against Corvette's and 911's and it's 4 doors.

Chevy Camaro Z28 SS-Will be a collectors item in another 10 years.

Land Rover Defender 90 and 110-It goes anywhere and still cost alot used.

Mazda FD RX7-Part of the Japanese super cars of the 90's

Mercedes 500E-This car and the M5 are the fastest 4 doors in the 90's.

    Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 2nd Gen-AWD and a 4g63 turbo.

Mitsubishi Mirage Asti Coupe MIVEC MD-4g92, 1.6L, 172hp, and modular displacement.

Mitsubishi 300GT VR4-Too bad it was always forgotten w/ the Supra and others around.

Nissan S13/S14 240SX-Almost bought an S13 still regret it today.

Nissan Z32 300ZX TT-First of the affordable super cars to come out.

Toyota Supra TT MKIV-Over priced during it's time but still a hell of a car.

    Suzuki Swift GTi-1.3L, 100hp on a car barely 1200lbs.

Volvo 850 Turbo-Gotta have a safe family car that's fast.

    Price not an issue:

    Toyota:
    2nd-gen MR2 (Turbo)
    Last-gen Supra Turbo
    Lexus SC400 and SC300

Ford: Mustang LX/GT 5.0 - Every Mustang driver I ran into was more than happy to race.

    My sentimental favorite:
DSM Turbos forever! Love your own.....

I have to say the very early 90's (and the very last part of the 80's) were the most exciting times because traditional V8 muscle cars and high-tech turbo 4's (the DSMs) were about to square off. Brings a tear to my eye *SOB*

Not on the list is the Isuzu Impulse RS. Modded versions of this car were quite...PESKY I know it quite well because a friend of mine used to own one.
