Sadly the Golf R and Mazda3 2.5GT AWD is not available locally. There were some talk of VW-PH bringing in the Golf R with a 3M SRP and a few people did show interest. However, it didn’t push thru.

If you want a Mazda car with a turbo engine, you can always opt for the Mazda6 2.5T.

Man this proves CVT sucks for performance cars. Even with more HP the wrx couldnt beat the mazda in the drag and the rolling race. Though in fairness the wrx was eventually gonna beat the mazda if the race was a bit longer.

The Accord 2.0T is even quicker than the WRX CVT. However, on more unforgiving surfaces like snow or gravel or dirt roads, the WRX will be able to deal with it better than either the Mazda3 AWD or Golf R.
