    thanks in advance!

You already answered your question, if gas prices are a concern the the go for the Civic, I own a 2000 Civic Vti, reliable and still sporty even if all stock.

Depends on what you really want for a car, the Cefiro and Accord is more comfortable to ride on than the Civic, spacious. That's all I can think of.

Civic, more fuel efficient, maintenance wise a little cheaper to maintain the the 2 mentioned above. An ideal car for everyday use. I think the reason why the 2 mentioned earlier depreciate faster is because more people prefer the Civic than the former (Correct me if I'm wrong), plus people find it easier to dress up this variant too. Good luck with your decision.

    maganda choices mo ha.

the cefiro and accord offer outstanding ride quality, lots of power and torque (iwan mo silang lahat sa stoplight), image (wow big time) and class.

downside, mas malakas sila sa gasolina. BUT, sa long drives, halos tabla lang sila sa civic. my cefiro gets 8-10 km/liter at a steady pace of 110-120kph sa highway, halos parang yung 96, 99 at '03 civics ko (puro matic ito ha), which get about 10-11 long drive.

    yun lang. good luck.

I'd suggest a 2000 Civic VTi or SiR (dapat yung fresh pa ah!) for an economical yet fast daily driver. If you would like more luxury, the Cefiro obliges. The 2000 Cefiro Brougham or Elite are very luxurious cars that are not expensive to buy, and putting on huge rims make them look even better. But the Honda Accord, correct me if I'm wrong, gets better FC numbers due to its inline-4 vs the Cefiro's V6, and it has sportier handling and has a performance oriented engine.

So what are the order of your priorities? Fuel mileage? Performance? Comfort? Image? Tuneability?

civic or cefiro nalang pinagpipilian ko

    any more inputs? tia!

Get the civic yun ang mag meet ng requirements mo.

Pero kung ANGAS lang ACCORD na ko. Honda badge, younger looking and sportier than the Cefiro IMHO.

if i were you, mag civic na lang ako.

leave the cefiro to the guys who like reliable luxury cars, like me, hehe. basta maganda paint, all we cefiro guys need to do is put some soundz and 18 rims in. and our engines reportedly last well over 300T kms (the 3.0 version is on ward's best engines, for about 5 years lang naman).

civic guys need to do a bit more para habulin yung power at torque ng cefiro. they'll also need to constantly replace timing belts, thermostats, radiators, blower motors, etc etc... di bale, they get 8 km/liter pa rin naman normal traffic, and 10-12 km/liter long drives... its just that they'll be paying repair costs a bit more frequently.

take this from someone who owns both cars

    Eto lang yan ...

Kung gusto mo VIP styling, get a black cefiro but some 20's chromes drop it.

Kung gusto mo sporty styling, get the civic.

Pero kung ako papipiliin, no doubts ... cefiro ako. ;)

GSR? Wag! Econobox coupe with no added performance over the sedan version? Tapos di pa practical since 2 door lang siya. Ikaw naman ang bibili so I'd leave the choices to you. Civic VTi has a 1.6 I-4 that makes 125hp, is more economical, more "youth-oriented", is the last Civic model with double wishbone suspension fore and aft, and still looks quite modern ('98-'00 version), but parts, repair and service can be quite expensive since it is a Honda, and it doesn't have many features (rear drums, no ABS, no airbags, etc). The same era Cefiro has a lot of toys and a host of safety features (Elite or Brougham VIP), 2.0V6 engine which is good for 155hp, more comfortable ride, and it can be a "binata car" too, I know someone with a white Classic Cefiro which was facelifted to look like the 2000 model (change lights and bumper) with subs in the rear and huge rims and it looks stunning!

:hysterical:

    3 words, panget panget panget.

any advice saan pwede maghanap? tumitingin ako sa sulit.com.ph, ayosdito.ph, tsikot car finder, carfinderph.com, kotsemo.com, autolink.com

    Sir,

Sundin mo payo nila. Looks and Fuel concern mo diba?

    I'll choose the Accord anytime.

Well, simply because I'm tired of the Civic and the A32 Cefiro's look and image add some significant digits to my age. Not to mention the V6 engine which will definitely make me older due to stress (hirap mag-maintain, takaw sa gas).

    But if it's the A31 Cefiro? ...

I'll go for the Cefiro. Aircon, Nissan still 1 of the best out there. sa totoo lang, pwedeng pangkarera itong Cefiro with its V6 monstrous engine.

plus marami kang makikitang stock Cefiros out there. ayaw ko lang yung aircon panel nito dahil electric, yung nakuha ko before sira na yung panel kaya yung aircon ko hindi ko makontrol ang lamig.
