Finally decided for WRX ...

Seating inside MX5 and BRZ/86 is very low (i feel uncomfortable...)

WRX. Why?

1. MX-5 selling point is good looks. You'll eventually get bored. ata?

2. WRX - Turbo power! The torque is addicting.

3. BRZ - selling point is you go sideways. I'm not sure you wanna go sideways with a 2 million car.

Power? WRX has 268 hp.
Torque? WRX has 350 Nm. This will certainly re-kindle your driving spirit.
No. of seats? - you guessed it, WRX seats 5 plus a big boot.
Road presence? - WRX has a humongous hood scoop which will probably scare 90% of drivers in Manila.

And you also mentioned you are nearing your retirement age, so yes i think the WRX will re-kindle your passion for driving. Get the manual though.

I asked a lot of people (non car enthusiasts) before what they thought about the WRX. It looked ordinary daw, like a sporty Altis or City.

I think outside of enthusiast circles, the WRX doesn't draw that much attention.

Let me rephrase, "At least you'll scare 90% of car enthusiasts with your hood scoop." The other 10% you ask? they either drive a higher hp car or have 1 at home.

I prefer stealth rides, something not too flashy but packs a lot of punch. I’m not like others who has rides that’s all show but no go. Hehehe
