Mas maraming Adventure by far. It's been on the market much longer than the Innova, and annual sales aren't too far apart.

The only time I'd recommend an old-school AUV like the Adventure or Crosswind is if it'll be for business use, where refinement, comfort, and safety are unimportant.

However, for personal use, even an Innova J is better than a top-spec Crosswind or Adventure. The latter 2 are just dinosaurs with crude, underpowered engines, no safety features, and with ancient chassis and interiors.

I'm not trying to start a debate or dwell into collateral matters. Just a first hand user sharing what for me are virtues of the Advie. The Innova may be good but the TS was asking between Advie or Xwind. By sharing my input, I was just trying to help the TS. I hope such opinion is respected.
    tnx po sa input.

    Ako Crosswind XT pipiliin ko
malakas brakes parang naka abs di naglolock parang
may projector headlamps which only found on
    higher end vehicles
    foglights
    More spacious than the adventure
but the adventure has bigger multimedia screen
    if you want the adventure
dont get the GLX w/ front facing seats
    masikip yung tuhod mo tatama
konting lubak or uneven road ulo mo naman tatama
    sa ceiling
kung Gusto mo mas refine, powerful and confortable the innova gets my vote
even if it does not have those gadgets

    Sir endless_arg09,

Adventure and Crosswind, yan na lang po yung 2 AUV na very reliable na sasakyan, daily driving lalo na sa extreme stop-and-go traffic, kahit ilusob sa baha (wag lang po aabutin ang air filter) tatakbo pa rin..

Saka very fuel efficient (wag lang po talaga hahataw... )

(kung still production ang revo, yun talaga ang the beast! hehe [10yrs na yung revo namin and wala pang major na maintenance breakdown])

saka yung terms of technology, kahit old school design (more on mechanical at less yung electrical sophistication) hindi mabigat sa maintenance as long as na properly maintained, kahit abutin pa ng 15yrs...no problem yan..

Adventure, never po ako nakapag-drive, most of the time passenger lang ako lagi.
(yung bagong sasakyan po namin is 4d56 vgt version, MT)

(Based on my keen observation, daily commuter)

Disadvantage: Walang ABS at airbag, at malakas na mag-consume ng krudo pag highway driving.. (3000RPM + full load)

pero kung combined city and highway driving or purely highway driving, innova.

    Masikip ang innova sa likod
I have an Innova and I can seat comfortably on the Third row
baka namang yanag adventure at crosswind mas cramped sa likod di
    ka makagalaw

For City driving or going to another city, the advie has a more comfortable ride. But if to travel from city to province or rural areas where there are a lot of rough road, the crosswind is more durable ..

I want to revive this thread.

Binigyan ako ng car plan ng company. Limit ko lang choices between crosswind and adventure.

Malaki ba difference ng acceleration? Kasi sa xwind naka turbo.

    Ano masmura parts?

Anong Crosswind Ba? Yung XUV nakakainis mas maganda pa unang labas ng XUV 13 years ago 60:40 split reclinin with armrest pa 2nd row ngayon fixed na parang sa XL at XT =(
And iszu removed the projector type headlamps and went back to the traditional multi reflector type
Adventure sobrang cramped so Innova ka nalang bro cofortable pero ang maintenance medyo mag tabi ka poo ng atleast20k per year

Crosswind has more torque and gearing better suited for climbing. Turbo is mainly for improving emissions only. Hardly any difference as compared to our Revo diesel (non turbo). Direct injection means better gas mileage and one-click start even in cold environments where rotary type diesels have a hard time starting. It is extremely notorious for it's black smoke. But then, with proper maintenance, our relative's 2012 IPV emits hardly any visible smoke, even when driven to Baguio.

I still prefer the Adventure's looks though. Much more modern, especially when it comes to interior design. Crosswind has many bits and pieces that seem to still be in the Tamaraw FX era. It performs slightly better than the Crosswind in the highway, and engine is less susceptible to black smoke.

Thanks for the input sir gti. How about engine parts?
