changing our vios. the car use is more pang utos but at the same time gagamitin for daily trips (kaya medyo comfy din sa). sobrang gagamitin to kaya sana tipid sa gas and hindi mabilis masira.

which among the 3 ang the best? grand livina, innova and carens? in terms of practicality, value for money, comfort or if kaya paki rate and rank na lang mga sirs.

or maybe you got other recommendations

    thanks!

From the 3, I like the Carens better. Innova though seems to be the practical choice of the 3. The Livina, although looks good and fancy, grabe ang sikip nun 3 row seats.

coming from the vios for sure sanay ka sa matipid sa gas. Not that its a gas guzzler, but its a 2.0 gas so expect a very good number of 8kml sa edsa traffic. I like the livina, but turned off ako sa single aircon lang nya.

im not a fan of diesels so gas lang option ko. I opted for the vvti innova.

I'll go with the diesel Innova. Seems lke you just need to find a good quality fuel filter in MM and the SCV problem won't be troublesome plus it seems like sa mga old batches lang naman problem.

    Innova got the space.

    Carens got the better engine.

Grand Livina got the ride comfort.

So what is important to you?

my choice would be the toyota Innova diesel, for its spacious cabin it is the most practical among the three, engine, well, the d4d is so fuel-efficient, no regret even though it is a 2.5 engine (comparing the fc rate of innova diesel to an izusu crosswind halos parehas lang) ,able to produce excellent speed, accelaration and power in any different driving situation when you need it, WIN! comfort is good enough, this will be a good choice and good value for money, basta alaga lang sa maintenance sure na tatagal ito,

CARENS, matipid din and since it is 2.0 pa, power is so great yun nga lang hindi namin nagustuhan kasi medyo may nalilitan kami sa cabin,

GRAND LIVINA, ok din naman daw according to other reviews what I read, hindi masyadong maliit at hindi rin gaano kalakihan, tama lang , it drives like a sedan, o parang jazz imaneho, sedan like comfort. i like the 6 speed M/T, a swift car, average fc is 10 - 14km/L if i'm not mistaken.

--ika nga, kung kukuha ka yung malaki na, better to test drive those cars, para makapag-finalize ka na ng decision mo.

    have a nice day!

My suggestion would be the INNOVA Diesel.

Innova Diesel here. Since galing kayo sa Vios, you would want something mas malaki. The Grand Livina sobrang sikip sa likod.

Innova Diesel. but if you're not going to fill the car with pax to its full then the Carens would be great!

Kung ako, Carens, then Innova D4D, then Livina. Between the Carens and the Innova nasa preferences mo na yan. If you are particular about ride comfort and performance then the Carens is for you, and also the fact that Carens is very popular in the European market and well received by its rental fleets should say a thing or two about its reliability and performance. But if you haul a lot of stuff and/or go to far flung provinces with bad roads often then you may find the truck-based Innova D4D more feasible. Personally I'd pick the Carens CRDi with the 6 speed manual for best performance and fuel economy.

Innova diesel is more practical. Can seat 6-7 people (keep the short ones at the last row hehe). GL is much smaller, width of the 2nd row feels like a fiesta/mazda2 in terms of space. But the interior is much nicer. 3rd row is pretty much for small kids or cargo. Another downer is the lack of a/c vents in the 2nd and 3rd row. Don't know much about the Carens

Given that you've mentioned fuel economy, go for the Innova Diesel. It's also the largest among the three, so the most practical as well.

since you're gonna be using it for daily trips, I suggest you test drive.

was picking between these cars last year, chose the carens because of the better ride compared to the innova and adequate space for my family.

    Kia Carens.

I have a brother who owns a Vios G AT before and then he replaced it with a 2010 Innova G Diesel AT.
He told me that his fuel consumption for both cars are fairly same...

I also will pick Innova diesel because of its practicality and value for money.

since gagagamitin pang utos at daily drive at minsan out of town trips ok na ang carens kasi matipid na diesel engine yet so powerful.

Our family have all three: livina (gas), innova (diesel, both m/t and a/t), carens (diesel m/t). Least desired is the livina, ang liit niya compared to the others. Comfort, Carens wins. Practicality, innova wins. Ground clearance, depends if you like it low or high, so this is a personal preference. Power: Carens wins. Fuel economy: innova wins even if Carens is 6speed, because Carens is heavier and loses out in our traffic unless you do a lot of highway driving.

Bottom line: It depends on what you are looking for. Choose between the Innova and the Carens.

grand livina, innova or carens
