Finally a review that mirrors Australian reviews. New Gen Isuzu Dmax needs to come sooner here and in Australia.

I love their technical analysis on every subtest. I wonder how the new generation dmax would've scored in this mega comparison.
Great vid! Probably the most comprehensive comparison test of pickups I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
Talked to my SA friend from nissan... told him na papalitan ko terra if darating yung bago, he said not this year or next year... so probably by 2023 after this covid pandemic and when economy gain its momentum...

Evo VIII was definitely the best looking among that generation (VII, VIII, IX). Although VIII and IX look similar naman. VII mukhang hilaw na Cedia Lancer.

Na off-topic na!
For me VII was the best looking of that gen. Cleanest, and the theme of sharp lines and angles continues all throughout the car, as I believe was the designer's original intention.
Sa VIII kasi the sides and the rear are angular, but the front suddenly became bubbly. It looks like a mashup of two different designs (like this BT-50, just to bring things a bit back on-topic).
IX better than VIII because of the cleaned up radiator grille.

However, the new 2021 F150 Powerboost is just a cool truck. 430hp/770Nm is just more than what you expect from its hybrid turbo engine.

In the US, there was a study that most speeders on the road are pickup truck drivers. Some of the full-size pickups are a bit quick though. Most cars couldn’t hold up to the sprint of the F150 V6 Ecoboost. 6 seconds on 0-100kmh (even a few ticks less on 0-60mph) is a feat for a truck over 2 tons! What more the Raptor and TRX?

Yup, the Y62 Patrol. Quick and corners well for a behemoth. It has HBMC, a damping system similar to Toyota's KDSS.

Only once lang ako pumalo lampas 100mph, doon sa Indiana turnpike way back in 2005. Most of the time, between 75mph to 85mph (120-140 kmh) lang max speed ko dun, parang ganun lang din takbo ko sa SLEX.
