    Hi guys!

We are currently discussing which car to buy.

So far mas gusto nila yung suzuki alto, pero sabi ko mas maganda yung mirage, pareho naman silang matipid(although mas matipid yung alto).
Pero ang dami kasi na hindi ko gusto dun like sobrang masikip, madaming na compromise for the sake of cutting cost at kung anu anu pang minor reasons.

Ang akin lang kasi, hindi naman kami makakabili na ulit ng kotse agad agad kaya it would be better to get something that will satisfy at the same time reasonable and efficient pa din.

    1. Ang alto ay mas mura - which is totoo naman

    TIA good day po

what i don't want on the new alto is that it is still using the old platform. kumbaga, reskinned lang sya unlike the Eon or Mirage, which are completely new designs.

i think the mirage or eon would offer better value because of the more modern mechanicals. maintenance-wise, pare-pareho lang halos yan. sa gasoline consumption,

Thanks for the reply A121.

Use the safety argument. As in walang airbags yung alto while meron ang mirage. Tapos newer chassis designs almost always equal to a stiffer chassis-in otherwords hindi medaling macrush yung frame kotse kapag sa seryosong bangaan.

baka naman kulang talaga sa budget rason na lang nila yun masikip, hirap sa parts, maintenance etc or yung magdadala lang sa kanila from point A to point B ang kelangan nila.

you might want to consider the hyundai eon, if kapos sa budget. mas refined sya compared sa alto.

The mirage has a 5 star crash safety rating. That's enough reason to buy it

get the mirage. it's a newer design. the passenger space is larger. there are more mitsubishi casas than suzuki casas here. the extra expense is worth it.
but for the same money (brand new alto or mirage), you can get a good, used toyota, mits, nissan or honda.
who says used cars are a no-no? you just have to be "careful"..

The "mahirap maghanap ng parts ng Mirage" is obviously not true. With the huge number of Mirages on the road, there are tons of aftermarket cosmetic parts already available, and stores are stocking up on Mirage parts, already.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I totally agree, with the price of 600K+++ get the mirage! BUT wait if you want to check out there will be a new car for toyota.
    Toyota Agta.

Wait for it. panlaban ng toyota sa mirage. Malamang same price range and baka ma consider din ng family mo

Yup.... 5 STAR safety rating for the MIRAGE. Better than driving a "cheaper" car that might be your coffin when you encounter an accident.

If you got cash to spare, go for the Mirage... valid din kasi talaga lahat ng intindi nila sa Alto. You just have to convince them that the extra cost is worth it.

If kaya naman ng budget mirage, its a no brainer. Just make sure na kaya nga talaga. The only reason id think of getting an alto is if my budget is that limited. But even then, id lean towards getting a 2nd hand car instead. Try considering it.

Mas mahirap pa siguro mag decide kung mirage vs jazz or mirage vs yarispero kung mirage vs alto or mirage vs celerio.features pa lang ay parang features na ng big cars.Most..,yung award na nakuha ng mirage.CAR OF THE YEAR lang naman.yang award ay hindi kayang bayaran ng presyo ng amount ng alto or even other cars

^Yes, tama ka nga jan sir.

In my case, yung celerio ang best example ng hindi worth yung extra cost versus alto.

We'll be checking out the mirage this weekend hehe.

I don't want to sound like I'm defending the Celerio, but I really am. I bought one for my wife haha

The Celerio GA, oo hindi talaga worth it yung dagdag. Yung Celerio GL (which happens to be AT na lang ngayon) ok lang. 538k SRP yun, comes with ABS EBD, 2 airbags. . It's not as cool looking as the Mirage, it does not have all the toys the Mirage GLS has to offer.. But it is a fun little small car. We get 24km/l with it, masarap imaneho, maganda ang handling, mabilis naman sya kahit papano. Sulit na sulit yung Celerio GL. Mirage GLS is 588k, Celerio GL MT was 538k, wala lang GPS, Push start, and ACC. I bought the Celerio for two reason, number 1 for it's FC and number 2 for suzuki's reliability on small cars. hehe

I think isa yun sa common myth about mitsubishi hindering some from seriously considering it.
Not sure about suzuki though. As for availability, habang dumarami ang mirage sa daan, mas maraming auto supply shops ang mag iinvest sa parts nyan. Not sure kung same case din sa alto.

If you ask me kung ano pipiliin ko, ill go with the mirage kung kaya ng budget. If not, dun lang ako sa kaya (maybe second hand).
