di ko lang sure kung may thread na dito...

    factors to consider:
    - engine performance (economy, power)
    - comfort level (seats, air conditioning, storage spaces, long distance travel, city traffic, etc.)
    - driving feel
    - maintenance and operating cost, durability
    - after sales of isuzu vs toyota

    help! [emoji3]

    my initial observations:

    innova
    - nadrive ko dati for 10+ hours going to camsur from manila, medyo mahina yung engine. considering na di nagpalit ng engine ang innova for a very long time...
    - comfort level is a go, hindi bouncy
    - space is a go (including 3rd row)
    - fuel economy is average / bad as compared to isuzu based on reviews
    - parang ok naman ang noise insulation, di gaano maingay sa loob

    mu-x
    - no idea, baka lang mas mahal ang maintenance / parts kasi SUV, hindi MPV.

if one lived in my neighborhood, one wouldn't want "bigger".
'tis the reason i don't have a fortuner.
my point of view. others' will probably vary.

    happy new year!

so after thinking about this matter, most probably when the new innova goes on sale, there won't be many discounts available right? or the variants will be overpriced by a bit to allow for flexible discounting...

so i'm considering buying the old one instead of getting ripped off.

i assume city driving won't be a problem anyways for the current variant.

The innova has bigger seating capacity than the MU-X 8 vs. 7
The innova has bigger luggage space with the 3rd row in use

Sakto lng sa city driving ang 4sp auto. 3 mods lng ang gagawin ko if i ever get the old one. More sound insulation aka dynamay, bilstein comfort shocks, and thicker tint to improve sound insulation.

Im also guessing the new innova will have a hefty price increase of 75k or more. Hehehe

Malayo yan. Mas upscale ang carnival. Mas comfortable pa. Bigger engine, mas tahimik. Mas malaki din space

I thought meron silang variant worth 1.5M? yun nga lang, 3 rows of seating sa rear and AFAIK, removed some features from the original Carnival that is worth 2M+
